Call me "out of the loop" but it seems that everyone suddenly wants old vanilla gear for some reason, especially the LDR 5001. Can someone explain?

1 답변LDR isn't vanilla, but it's to validate yourself as a day oner pretty much. There are also perks that are now unavailable on those weapons

1 답변I always seem to end up using my LDR's. Got a void and an arc. Wish I had been able to get a Solar one.

1 답변Because it's the human nature to want what they can't get. Also be feeling of being special having something, that few people have.. It's stupid, but so is people

1 답변Because most of it has better rolls. Most of them are much better than weapons we have for the current vendors. Most. (That old bullet hose crucible auto rifle with no stability from the dark below, so bad)

I was looking through my vault and found some nifty guns. A Fair and Square that rivals The Messenger. A Coiled Hiss that has Head seeker, glass half empty with perfect balance. And an Unfriendly giant with 3rd eye along with grenades and horseshoes. It's too bad there's like a month left to use these.

Most of the old gear is better because it's not affected by the perk patches. Vanilla scouts have field scout perk. New ones can't. (my dB felwinters has shot package and hammer forged). The ldr has great aim assistance (reticle sticks to target longer making it easier to nail headshots) my ldr has firefly on it I can get multiple kills off one shot due to the explosion. Her benevolence has similar stats but you can't get fire fly on it.

Some of that gear was actually amazing but I have no idea why anyone wants that sniper, it really wasn't that good unless it got an amazing roll. I kept some of my vanilla gear and with new tuning update I see I did the right thing my shadow price will come come back and destroy once more lol

13 답변Rarity. No one cared about it when it was for sale. Now that you can't get it, everyone wants it. That's how the world works. Look at Tickle Me Elmo. Simple toy, but when it was sold out everywhere all of a sudden EVERYONE needed one...(just to resell for $2000+ of course). In Destiny, people want to feel "different" and "unique". The LDR is old and a lot of people didn't save it...so it's natural for all of a sudden everyone to be like, "I wanna be one of the few people who have one!" Old and rare don't mean better...it just means different. Let them waste their time trying to get old gear.
