I'm going to assume from your profile you like hunters. I'll also assume you have in fact tried titans and warlocks and didn't like them. Anyone could come along and explain to you why they'd rather have a titan or warlock on their raid team but you wouldn't change your characters would you? No. Nor should you. Please excuse me for liking something different than you'd like me to like.

Song of Flame radius is just too damn small. If it affected all in my Fireteam at a much larger AOE then I would use it all the time, but Radiant Skin is MUCH stronger. Pop it while under cover much like using an arc blade or golden gun, and then just come out swinging, throwing, and shooting like a tank.

Only places i insist a fire born is used are in raids, night falls and PoE 34 and 35. Because shit happens in these things, let's be honest. Its nice to have someone that when you hear "guardian down" you know your not out a player.

I only use fireborne in nightfalls because I usually solo or have one friend with me. Even radiant skin saves you from death a lot. Never understood why someone would want to die to get the best out of their super, makes my brain hurt when I see Sunsingers never use their super because they didn't die.
