I have had multiple posts that have received enough flags to become hidden. Now, this is suppose to be passed on to a moderator for review, but in my experience this process takes upwards to 2 days. Not even that, but after the thread goes unhidden the thread is reflaged. Now, I have a few things to say about this and at a few groups of people.
@Moderators Is there not a way to punish those who are falsely flagging content to censor the message? Clearly there are more threads being reported that do not violate the CoC than can be dealt with in a timely manner. If not, what is stopping a person with a handful of alt accounts from falsely flagging every thread a single person makes? This is a forum of attack.
@Flaggers By flagging content that is not breaking any of the rules stated above in the photo you are proving that you are not capable of having an open debate. You are showing through your actions that you support censorship and admitting that you do not feel that people have the right to think differently than yourself. What happens when this abuse type of abuse is used towards you? If it truly is unchecked then what will you do when it is directed towards yourself?
These people are the lowest of the low. It's rather pathetic that the only way these people can attack an argument is by abusing a moderation system.

3 답변작성자: Kamots 7/31/2015 4:54:07 AMWhile I am not certain you are completely undeserving of having some of your posts reported, that's also just how the system is meant to work. Subjective reporting from the community followed by the typically more lenient responses from the moderation. But to perhaps give some insight as to how "false-flaggers" are affected, I recall Recon once surmised that the overall system puts less weight behind the reports of people who do it often and for illegitimate reasons. I don't claim this to be true, but he's the best source of info I've seen regarding the issue.

1 답변I agree. Forcing a topic to be hidden even to those who have not chosen to hide it is rather mean. Perhaps have a disclaimer that hides the OP until clicked, like before on the old site?
