This is fact. It cannot be contended.
Edit - I can't believe how many butthurt Strikers are out there. The post was meant as a half joke but now that I see all the posts trying to say that blinking and using Thorn are more cheap I am convinced these people I talked about in the title have no idea how lame they are.
Let me explain a bit why the blinking and Thorn arguments are less valid. Thorn is a hand cannon which means that despite the poison ability, it still requires more precision aim to hit something with a single bullet versus a whiff of grapeshot. You also can't one-shot someone with Thorn, unlike a shotgun.
Blinking, to those who only use Titans and don't realise this, actually requires aim and timing. Unless there is a perk I am unaware of, there is no homing blink. It is actually the most complicated means of traversal in the entire game. Learning to blink shotty, while cheap, at least requires the skill to blink properly so you're not jumping at the ceiling or something. It is still scrub since it uses a shotgun but again, requires mastery of the hardest platforming skill in the game so it seems less scrubby to me.
Also, Fist of Havoc requires zero aim unless you're using the superman dive and that still requires minimal aiming, roughly the aiming skill of a nova bomb.
Furthermore, although Shoulder Charge can be used as a means of platforming, the main use is for offensive purposes and it can do damage in and of itself. It is impossible to physically hurt someone using Blink alone.
Viking Funeral can be considered cheap...but how can it cause physical damage in and of itself? Oh wait, it can't. You can't panic kill someone with VF or Blade Dance or Golden Gun. Literally the only two panic kill supers are Nova Bomb and Fist of Havok. But a Warlock with Nova Bomb and Blink and a Shotgun still is less scrub because of the reasons mentioned above: Blink takes at least some skill and can't cause damage versus Shoulder Charge that can.
So Strikers with shotguns have the move set and loadout that requires the least aim, least skill, has more offensive options and allows panic supers.
Seriously. I do not understand how people do not see how it allows the most scrub kills in the entire game. Yes, you CAN be a Striker with skill and get plenty of kills not using these methods and when I am killed by a Striker who uses a primary weapon or who uses FoH to take out more than one person I have no complaints. That usually doesn't happen though.

3 답변My first character and most used character is my striker. I recently made a hunter and now have one days worth of playing time. I can say from the bottom of my heart that hunters are way more useful in pvp in small teams like skirmish. I could blink out of rockets....nova bombs... basically everything. The arcbolts can chain on people and has high kill potential in modes in control. Yeah i still shoulder charge in modes like control but i dont purposely hunt someone down with it because against average players they will take you out before you reach them.

3 답변Shotguns will ne buffed so just wait... snipers sitting in their spot the whole round are lame too. And i remember the times when everybody was raging against the use of Fusion rifles in pvp. So what should we use now?

7 답변Anyone who thinks tapping one input with Blink to aim it is skillful, but can turn around and say timing your shoulder charge to where you don't whiff it isn't, is delusional

6 답변Cheers for the novel. I'll still run my striker with a shotty, and thorn too. Scrub? Hell yeah.

Of all three in pvp the most useful super (IMO) is golden gun and closely followed by nova bomb, blade dancers get shot gunned and snipes out of super, but nova and GG can get kills from a distance without exposure, Titan smash sucks to get killed by but they have to get up close and personal, i die more on super with Titan for sure

3 답변No dude blink shotgunners are the cheapest. It's not hard to blink around the map and it's next to impossible to counter unless you can blink yourself. The titan is seriously handicapped in the fact that the only thing it can do is run straight at you. Which, if you have the least bit of skill, is seriously easy to shoot. Shoulder Charges usually end up getting shotgunned in the face because it's like a giant target running at you. Hard to miss. However, blinking above and around someone to shotgun them in the back is an easy kill. Blink is not hard to use. And the melee for both Warlocks and Hunters far, FAR outweigh the Titan's pathetic t-rex arms. Fist of Havoc, like the Void Bomb, can both be used in a panic situation. So don't just single out Titans.

5 답변"Requires skill to blink properly." I've done it after like 2 crucible matches I had it down packed. So to say it takes skill is a far stretch.

9 답변Blink requires skill, just my as much skill as you are implying. When people blink, there are mainly two directions: Forward Up Skilled people are good at doing Multi directional blinks, but mainly that's what they're used for.

No. Blink shotgun with hand cannons and rockets is as cheap as it gets. Blink has an invincibility frame. Shoulder charge does not. Blink can dodge supers, rockets, and let you gain ground without be shot. Cheap as it gets.

1 답변Titans should use snipers imo because they don't have blink so it's hard to get in range without dying, and sliding doesn't work

1 답변Just a question, are you one of the dirty scumbags that abuse final round snipers? If not, I applaud you for using the spear.
