Basically because destiny doesn't know how to feed customers? An example. There's 2 restaurants. The Witcher 3 and Destiny. I go to the witcher 3. Nice looking restaurant. Nothing fancy. I go in and I pay 60 bucks for a meal (for logical reference let's pretend that we have a really inflated economy. If you don't know what that means, money is worth less so you have to use more). So I pay 60 dollars. There's quality service, and variant of options. My waiter is always checking up on me and swing how I'm doing. I get huge meal with drink and desert and is more than what I expected. I leave satisfied knowing I had a great meal and I want to come back. I new restaurant called destiny appeared. Same price but promise of well quality food, a lot of choices and open space, a fancy restaurant, we got a band and entertainment, it's next big thing. So I'm like let's try it out. I go there. I look outside and the restaurant looks fantastic. Looks better than the witcher 3. I go in. The inside is complete crap. Barely any space. Barely any employees. The decor is not so great but who cares I'm here for the food. Well I have to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Then I have to wait 30 minutes to do my order. I ask for a menu. "Oh no sir all we have is the destiny special" "but the variety..." Look we don't have it are you going to eat or not." Well fine I will. So I get the destiny special. All I got is 2 crappy chicken legs. I call the waiter "hey where's the drink and sides" oh they are 20 dollars each. You can get both for $35." So I'm thinking f it I'll get the food. I get the food. It's a cup of rice and 4 ounce glass of water. Bill comes. $95. "Oh and we have desert. It's called the taken king and it's only $40 extra. Now if you didn't get that example, basically there's was a bunch of things that were promised. Destiny was suppose to be the "new thing". Open world with random gun system, a whole wide range of guns, gun customization and shop customization, open world. But when it came out we got something completely different. Now I don't if it's just me because people say "it's the best game ever!!" Well whatever. I'm not complaining because people beat me on crucible or they're doing a nerd or that I don't have a gjallahorn. I'm fine with what I have and if someone is better oh well. I have good and bad matches for every game that has competitive multiplayer. And I will admit I had some fun in this game but only when I played with friends. There were on and off periods that I play this game. Put about 200 hours into it.Point is it's a huge disappointment. Every time I stop playing it and play a different game like fallout or hell even games on the wii u, they are a lot more entertaining and fun. Right now taken king is coming out but you know what so are fallout 4, halo 5, gears of war 4, uncharted 4, (not going to say the whole list) which will be more entertaining and fun then destiny. So I'm probably done. Don't know if I'll come back or be stuck playing the new E3 titles. You can go and send hate mail and tell me "I'm another noob who sucks". Oh well👍🏽. Good for you. To those who listen and actually understand mutual respect amount other players (I respect other people opinion on why that like destiny. It's freedom of speech and I respect people on their own opinions and beliefs) just legionary look at destiny, look at previous promises bungie has made and look stand the new dlc. Think if it's actually worth it. If it is then good for you. To sum this all up, destiny had a lot of potential and could've been the greatest game ever but in my opinion it turned out way different. I still have some enjoyment as long as I have people but probably it's around the time to leave and move forward. Okay I'm done with a long ass speech I did not except to make but hell I did anyway.

Ha me and my friends never did skolas when the burns were still on and the first time we tried after he was bugged we destroyed him and none of us used gjally. Also I do believe making it harder makes it better because you actually have to try and not just end the boss in seconds

i played for a couple hours last night after a long break. had fun not gonna lie. i really want to max out my red death for my hunter.

I'm on the razors of edge of quitting. Not for any nerf/buff, but for the lack of content. So much of it is just a retread version of previous content. And not getting a new raid sucked with HoW. PoE is not impressive at all. The PvP isn't consistent compared to BF4 or PvZ. And having all the exotics for a long time gives the game an extremely stale taste. It makes you realize just how hollow it is. Without those exotics to go after you quickly realize that running two raids three times a week is kind of lame. And PoE being basically the same thing for all levels is even more repetitive. How about bungie takes some of those profits and deploys dedicated servers for 12v12 PvP. Now that would have me addicted to it like crack!
