Here's some food for thought... If bungie is expecting to have as many new players join when TTK comes out, how would they feel if they acquired the weapons from the two raids and realized they were useless aside from pvp? Furthermore, what if said players just aren't pvp players (and there are bound to be some), which means the weapons will be utterly useless. Also, as it has been said before, why would they nerf Black Hammer if it wasn't going to be ascended in the first place? Based on all this I'd be more surprised if we weren't allowed to ascend our year one weapons. Still...it wouldn't completely throw me off if bungie did that. Let me know what you think
