Deej lied to us (proof)
In the bungie weekly update from 7/10/15, Deej states his concern for being called a noob. Following this he also states he will bunker down and check off a Moment of Triumph each week that he hasn't completed. Now here we are 19 days later and Deej has made ZERO new progress on both his PSN and XBL accounts. This is supposed to he the man who supports our interests, mediates, and transfers information between us and Bungie. How can he do such things if he hasn't witnessed any of the issues we're having, and at bare minimum completed the mere tasks we've been given.
So with him flat out lying to us it makes me wonder... what else has he not told the truth about? "Voicing your concerns at the next meeting," "we hear you guys," I think not.
Deej you can still come back from this, myself as well as many other guardians would love to help you.
Inb4 grammar patrol I don't feel like proofing this I'm at work on mobile, screw off.
Update: To those whose response has been or is belittling toward me stating I have a miserable life or no life, that leaves you where because we are both on the destiny forums so the fact that I posted a topic makes you better than me... how??

Update: so many butt hurt guardians it's phenomenal, no use arguing with anyone or trying to show reason, as the children ans trolls have invaded.
Who new calling someone out would stir such a pot. I'm not bashing anyone, it's not my style.

3 답변I can see how everyone is immediately saying, "who cares he's our manager, not a pro gamer" but can't we look past that for a second? Wouldn't it have been cool if you saw a post on LFG from Deej and finished skolas with him? Wouldn't it have been cool if he added a small paragraph at the end of each weekly update sharing battle stories from his fights across the galaxy? Idk, personally I enjoy when people stay true to their word. I'm not mad at Deej or whatever, just thought it coulda been kinda cool

7 답변When someone is essentially forced to live and breathe for the company they work for, I'm sure the last thing he really wants to is to play more Destiny. It's kinda like when I have people in my life who ask me if I've watched a certain movie, and I'll respond by saying something like, "Yeah, I check it out." If that person keeps breathing down my neck like some annoying turd, I'd probably be inclined to tell that person to piss off. I'm sure he'll eventually get to it. He's got over a month, right? Maybe he's playing Rocket League or something. Or hanging with family. Or enjoying life to some capacity.

작성자: Secember 7/30/2015 8:48:40 AMSo, maybe something like this might be the community manager we expect : Step 1 : Play the game, like PvP, Raids, Story etc Step 2 : Write down the flaws you encountered Step 3 : Report the flaws that make the game less enjoyable (major issues) to the teams responsible for them. Step 4 : Write a post / item on the forums, saying you (the CM of Bungie!!) experienced the flaws yourself, and that you've reported them. But instead of writing "working on a fix", write for example "we know you guys are no big fan of the pvp servers, but an upgrade is coming!" This might give the players some hope for the future, that indeed better things are coming, instead of the general "we're working on a fix", which doesn't really give the community a confident feeling. Step 5 : Enjoy your new status as awesome CM, cuz if you have to read bad topics about the CM for 10 years, you won't have any joy about the game you work for!

작성자: M3NAC3 360 7/30/2015 6:35:49 AMHe is a community manager, not the bug fixer, the weapon balancer, game designer. He doesn't need to know jack about the game. His job is essentially to communicate to the community and the community thoughts/issues to Bungie. If he goes back and says hey, shotguns are OP, or goes in to great detail, it makes no difference because the balancer will still have to go through all the compiled data in order to properly re-balance. I am not sure what you want, do you want a community manager who is too busy playing Destiny to do his job, or do you want him to his job? Having said that, if you tell the community you are going to do something then you really should do it. I know it is a game and it ultimately means nothing, but not doing what you say you will gives a negative impression.
