You bastards will literally cry Nerf about anything.
For what it's worth, I've been playing this since the Beta, back when people cried about the goddamned Shingen. They'd cry about Golden Gun and its 3 kills, Throwing Knife, Fist of Havoc, Nova Bomb, the Galahad, and [b]each other[/b].
You bastards need to suck it up. Sure, some things aren't performing as intended, so a Patch is released. But haven't you ever considered that [b]you[/b] aren't performing as intended?
Understand that certain things dominate in their respective areaa. Then understand their flaws and how to [b]drive them into the ground.[/b]
Getting Sniped? Why aren't you rushing them from another side?
Getting dominated in close range? Stop feeding them kills.
Boxed in and can't break out of your Spawn area? Don't wait for RNG to solve your problems, make something happen with your [b]own Goddamned hands[/b].
Stop attributing your deaths to your opponent's weapons or perks. One's an anomaly, two's a trend. [b]Stop making your deaths into a trend.[/b] Adapt to their playstyle and annihilate them for using it.
Person's using Last Word? Either rush them hard where they don't expect it or make [b]your[/b] optimal range into their [b]death zone[/b].
A Vex Mythoclast? Abuse that Rev-up time. Fire from in and out of cover. It might not be the best window, but damn it; it's there.
Thorn? So what if they take you out? [b]Drag them down with you if you have to.[/b] Them getting two headshots in a row on you is your own damn fault for being [b]-blam!-ing predictable.[/b] That time it takes for the burn to end you? More than enough to put someone down. Ambush them, snipe them, but don't just lie there and accept your loss. You have grenades, force them into cover. Have your own Thorn? By all means, whatever, use it if you want, but only if you think you can [b]out-Thorn them.[/b]
For shit's sake, there's strategies and stratagems for everything. Try something out and see if it works. Don't attack them head on, running into their gunfire. [b]Think[/b] about what'll be effective, you have it in you!

1 답변I agree with you until the exotic hand cannons. The problem is the last word can stagger you at what's supposed to be optimal ranges and so can the thorn. The thorn user getting two headshots on you isn't what kills you it's the fact they fire one last bullet into you even if you're strafing and kill you while they're dead. I'm a Mida user so I have to strafe but it doesn't mean I don't get killed by bullshit.

People don't want to draw light on their own inadequacies so it's far easier to blame some one or something. I wholly agree with you. The thorn is annoying but can be countered if you are at least some what decent. Most thorn users are awful, which is why they are using a crutch of a weapon. Will you be killed at times you probably wouldn't? Yes. Does it suck? Yes should you come to the forums to cry about it? Hell no it's a video game. If I see someone using a thorn I'll take them out and if they get lucky it just adds fuel to my fire. I will make sure every time I see them they are going to die so they can't get the 10 kills in my game. Learn to think tactically. Don't feed the team kills because you are upset at one or two enemies. The whiners are also the sole reason I will never support implementing match making for anything that doesn't have it. They will whine when they have a bad experience and can't complete. They will scream that bungie needs to nerf the raids,PoE,NF,etc. "Bungie has no right to make something that hard and deny me my exotic rewards that I deserve even though I couldn't complete the task!"

Buddy thorn was bad. I've got a pretty high sniper accuracy and am certainly the teams callout strat champion. When my treamates are moving I always move to flank and when my teammates are about to go down I very often guardian angel them, I played the same way in halo; sniper support can be a very aggressive alternative to shotgun rusher as the steady map control causes players to struggle to gain ground. That said there were engagements I was having with thorn time and time again where the user was cross map outperforming a [i]pretty damn[/i] deadly sniper. People do complain about everything; but that doesn't mean there aren't things that legitimately deserved their nerf.

7 답변Things I asked to be nerfed are: suros regime warlocks, their noobs with mini grenade supers. thorn. But they nerf all other hand cannons? last words long range two shot, other than that it's okay. And shotguns mainly because of pvp blink and medium range kills. But instead they're getting mainly a pve nerf... Why?

9 답변작성자: SlickDigby 7/29/2015 10:29:46 AMThe point of mentioning your handcannon kills from below post: You say you're a good player by knowing how to counter and using good 'stratagem' but you follow the meta and use the same guns that people complain about, the reason they are complaining is the 'if you can beat em, join em' attitude of people like you, you're basically advertising a game where everyone uses exactly the same guns as this is the only winning strategy out there, no ducking in an out of cover or anything else you attest to above, simply be better with the weapon that's killing you. These weapons needed nerfed and others needed buffed, we will never have true balance if this doesn't happen regular and no amount of stratagem will save you when your hand cannons and DOT are working as they should instead of being completely broken.

I was reading this in a mad voice, but for what is worth, you're absolutely right, I ran the vex myth until they nerf the thing, now I'm running the thorn and I tell you I still get kill by it but do I complaint, no why cuz that only shows I have to raised up my skill level, I learn not to be predictable if I get kill I don't go back to the same place, I go around flanked them, do what you can to turn the corner flip the script on them, do what you have to do and stop bitching about the guns, you skill just sucks

2 답변I use thorn sometimes/ the last word a lot, red death from time to time. I can't wait for the weapon rebalance. The first week or two no ones gonna admit it on the forums. Then around the end of the first month after the patch the wining will begin again. "Thorn still a problem" "Nerf the multitool damnit" "Gally is still a lfg requirement wtf man" "Suros is wrecking, where do I get one?" 1 답변Yeah. The sad thing is is that (obviously this is my opinion) people calling Gally OP, or Thorn OP are the people ruining this game. A HUGE majority of the weapons in this game are too weak. That's why there's certain guns that seem over powered. Gally and Thorn are good representations of what guns in this game should be like. And of course having exotics acting like exotics. Another thing too though is that the people complaining are people from PvP. There should be two separate stats between PVP and PvE. Because something is "overpowered" in PvP doesn't mean it is in PvE. So one side of the community is making it harder for the other. So this isn't just an issue from the people, but also Bungie themselves.

4 답변I still can't believe there are people who think there's nothing wrong with Thorn and Last Word. It's simple math. Two guns make dozens irrelevant. It's your fault if you got shot twice? Is that honestly the argument here? You're talking about weapons with potential times to kill under half a second compared to the overwhelming majority of weapons with ttk's at least 1 second and most above 1.5 Primary weapons shouldn't do that. Period. It removes gunplay from the game when you need to fire one shot and hit them with an aoe grenade for a kill. Watch any sweaty, that's all it is. If Destiny is going to be a competitive shooter, then weapon balance is going to be crucial to it's process of getting there. There's a reason why some of the loudest voices in the discussion are some of the best and most competitive players in the world right now. Their opinions carry a lot of weight because they see it every day, multiple times a day.
