Let's see how strong the fanboy-ism is.
Edit: To all of you saying this isn't fair... I know it isn't a fair fight. This is a copy of a thread posted in #OffTopic. I wanted to see how different the results would be.
Edit 2: I'd like to thank all my OffTopic brethren who are helping to cleanse all these foolish minds
Edit 3: Quite the war I've started here
Edit 4: To clarify, we're talking about the Guardians from Destiny, not the ones the Forerunners made.
Edit 5: Assume that the Forerunners are alive and operating at full power.

In "halo: the fall of reach" master chief said the most perfect line that would literally determine the fate of every battle that was yet to come. "On the ground, Spartans always won. In space, the covenant won, rendering the ground victory useless" Basically, no matter what guardians could do in a firefight battle, win or lose, the ships would come and clean up if they lost. And to everyone saying "ghosts would just revive them" ghosts are not indestructible. We have seen many dead ghosts drained of light or lost or without guardians. Meaning that they can only be revived so many times before they (run out of light?) and to the casual players who never got into halo and destiny and say that they'd just revive, you need a teammate to revive you. If all guardians are dead, no revives. And to all the self Rez warlocks, you'd get shit down immediately.

90 답변why WOULD forerunners win? what can they do that guardians cant? teleport stuff? transmat. bad-arse weapons? exotics n space magic. not-biological sentient constructs? exo. but what can guardians do? resurrect from the dead. the game mechanic is lore-friendly, which makes guardians>forerunners. (halo rings? exos and ghosts survive, res. rest. forunner still dead. gg ez win)

28 답변Didact slipspace jumps over to the Reef, uses the Composer. The Reef was just cleansed of all guardians and awoken. Pops over to Earth, uses the composer on the city. Everyone dies. The "war" (genocide) is about 10 minutes before the Didact has composed just about every Guardian. I would like to point out that there are multiple composers. Unfair doesn't even begin to describe the fight. The forerunners are, one-for-one, more powerful than guardians. A single Forerunner foot soldier would be about equal to a strike or raid boss. The guardians are struggling to defend a single city. The forerunners held a galactic empire against the flood. There are many, many more forerunners that guardians. Imagine doing the Abyss, except every thrall is Crota. Its about that level of curbstomping.

2 답변Shall I paste what I said in the original one?
Forerunners would just destroy their galaxy. Guardians wouldn't be able to even reach them until they buy a $60 expansion. Dance moves are $80 extra.
9 답변Anyone who knows the slightest bit of Halo lore knows that this wouldn't even be fair. Forerunners hands down. If lord Shaxx narrated the fight... "This isn't a fight, it's a massacre!"
