Pick up an MG. Sooo many good legendary MGs, like Jolders Hammer, Pacifier X, Corrective Measure, BTRD, the list goes on.

Surplus is always good for more ammo, combined with either Crowd Control or Rodeo if it is a high impact/low RoF MG. If you go for a high RoF MG, I'd recommend counterbalance and Crowd Control or Range Finder. The other perk trees don't have anything crucial, merely little bonus perks to complement the main perks

I personally like the Corrective Measure's perks, and try to roll other MGs to match. - Persistence... This weapon becomes more accurate the longer it is fired. - Surplus... Expect to find more ammo for this weapon.
