Why do people still complain about Xur
Its like they depend on him every week knowing full well he'll still sell shit every week.

People want things. It's frustrating when he shows up with "universal remote" Casual player A can't engage in end game activity with "universal remote" He doesn't have friends who play or like begging for help from alpha guardians who crit him for not having tier one weapons. He needs an ice breaker. He needs a red death or a Thunderlord. So he's just annoyed waiting. Me I would have liked for bungie to add a few more exotic weapons into his loot table. He should sell shaders from distant dimensions and exotic class items from ancient guardians. Instead....plan c. Meh. I think he is great resource to Arm and equip casuals so he has a purpose. I go see h and buy heavy synch every once and a while.

Because some people don't have exotics handed to them on a silver platter by RNGeesus. Gotta remember buddy, not everyone has luck. I went 7 months without getting raid gauntlets to drop from the vault. Would have bought them from Vault Xur if I could have in a heartbeat.

As a casual player, I don't get a shot at playing Destiny for hours uninterrupted, so Raids/POE/ToO are very difficult for me to find time for. So I rely on XUR for armor so I can lvl up, but I never get upset. If he doesn't have anything that suits me... there's always next weekend!

Yeah, I haven't visited him in a long time. The one and only thing he could possibly have of any value for me would be the hunter Bones of Eao. But of course, he'll keep selling the same old bullshit everybody already has (everybody but noobs, that is; they seem to depend on him)
