So my dad took my Destiny CD.
It really bummed me. He says I'm addicted- I don't think so. Check my characters- am I even good enough to be addicted? I mean, it's summer vacation. If I was actually addicted I would have had max grim and al exotics and what not.
Edit- for the record I bought it with my own money, and I'm 17 years old
Edit 2: people saying to buy digital: it would have been smart if it wasn't that stupid. He would have taken the whole PS4...
Edit 3: starting to feel old about CD. And I'm just 17.
Edit 4: being maxed is super easy. You have to be a real scrub to [u]not succeed[/u] getting 3 34's. If you never tried, ok, but if you failed? Leave

1 답변If my dad took my destiny it'd be because he lost his and asked first to borrow mine. I'm 24 and he's 45. I'd probably say no because I bought his and that's incredibly irresponsible for a man his age to lose a game if he's not taking it anywhere

I would say I feel for you but I'm 16 have a summer job installing air conditioners. It sucks because I work 8-10 hours a day. When I get home I take care of my dogs. Sometimes I go do stuff with friends. If nothing else I play destiny. Lol jk all I play is destiny because it is love it is life I say this very sarcastically

1 답변Don't want to be rude and don't know the situation your in, if you're overweight he had every right as a parent if not grow some balls. Offer to pay part of electrical bill, buy your own tv, have decent grades and stand up to him like a man and not a delinquent and you should be fine.

Tell your dad, "thanks," and go hang out with some friends and spend your summer doing something other than sitting inside playing video games. You're 17, it's your last summer before you're an adult and have real responsibilities. Enjoy that time. If i could go back to being 17, i sure as hell wouldn't be spending my summer playing video games

2 답변Addiction isn't determined by how many exotics you have or how maxed out your characters are. It's measured by how much of your time is spent playing the game vs doing real life things. If your dad thought you were addicted he is probably worried you are missing out on real life. It's a good sign he loves you and is looking out for you. Try some new hobbies, chill out with some friends. Save the games for when the weather is shitty. Once you have more balance in your life I'm sure the old man will give it back.

To me, it looks like your just looking for validation and for someone to side with you. Go outside and enjoy summer. Ride a bike, hang with friends, be a kid cause it doesn't last forever. One day you'll look back and wonder where the time went. Relax.
