Lore Speculation Video: The Nature of the Exo
Hi everyone, Reddit user Fuzzoff here.
I had a lot of people ask me if I could make a Video version of my "Nature of the Exo" lore post on Reddit. So, I dusted off Final cut and made one.
I'm looking at making more Lore videos, so please critique it for me! I think it's decent for a first take, but I certainly want to get better.

1 답변I must have watched this 3 or 4 times, treating it like a little mini movie. Great work sir - this is really great work. I especially enjoyed Dr. Bostrom's plug and the suggestion about who the Traveler really is.

7 답변wait, but if those researchers had to call in a warmind to protect themselves, but the warminds were designed to protect from any threat, what if they vex simulated the warminds with an already laid out set of code, code that makes it seem they are to complicated to simulate, but really, it is like a movie, all the "coding" is predetermined, no matter how complicated it seems. what if they simulated the warmind, to give us a false sense of security. they caused the warmind to identify when the simulated vex entered the threat boundary. they purposefully gave humans time to prepare, so the humans could think they had a fighting chance, when they had already lost. were already simulated. They had lost, and had been losing all along. that is how the vex remove things from existence. they are simulating the reality we are in currently, so they can remove simulations of anything. they make it appear they can only do this inside the vault of glass and places with high vex signatures to make it seem they have a weakness of some sort, maintaining their disguise, as weakness seems more real. but truly, as long as they simulate us, there is no winning, they have no weakness. they can't travel through time, but rather, through different simulations. only the VoG has a gateway between true reality and false reality. the aegis, but what if they vex simulated that as well? We have already lost this war guardians . . . . .

Nice video. I always wondered if the Exo and Vex were linked in some way. Looking at the Titan mark Deep Stone Crypt, it looks suspiciously similar to a Vex structure, like their towers, but whether that's actually the case... *shrug*

1 답변This is really great stuff. Truly. It makes me wish that even a fraction of the lore that is in the grimoire cards was put into the actual story and gameplay in Destiny. Destiny has such potential to be a true masterpiece yet the potential has been squandered and we are left with a shell of a game and grimoire cards in an app to tell us the true stories. Great work though. I enjoyed the video a lot.
