It can still work in regular crucible but maybe your legend will continue when you slay a new disciple of the Darkness. Best part is that you get to be excited all over again when you find that new sniper.

Why get excited about powerful new guns?

Because it will serve you for a good number of months it may not carry you through the life span of destiny but you will still make memories. You have the legend of this sniper and one day you will have a new sniper and its legend has just begun. It may feel lacking to have to get new weapons but it makes it all the more exciting to get new weapons.

But then you never get to try new perk sets. I liked the additional accuracy of my Proxima centuraii 2 but I liked ghealons demise with Icarus. Plus most weapons have similar stats. I can see that you really don't want to debate this point so I recommend just holding onto it and waiting for whatever you think will happen.

I want to see more and more variety, I want to try new and interesting perk sets and experiment with different strategies. That'd be awesome. I want to see game design that promotes variety by the way of expanding content, not forced variety by limiting content. Bunngie has two options 1. Too many people use this gun, make it worse 2. Too many people use this gun, let's dangle some other cool toys in front of them.
