I too am quitting this terrible game. I followed it since 2013 and the first concept images of the guardians. Played the alpha, the beta and went to the midnight release. The alpha and the beta were immensely fun, the original game was quite fun even though it lacked a story. I forgave bungie on that one. I took a massive break and played other games right before TDB released because I didn't like how it looked. Regrinding a raid as the only way to get to 32? Hell no. I heard about HoW and jumped back on the bandwagon and really enjoyed it. PoE was fun though I quickly learned the rewards are shit. I did some more vogs (best thing in the game) and did more crucible. I quickly became frustrated, not with the current crucible meta, but with how long bungie was taking to fix it. We hear of this incoming weapons rebalance and for me, in my opinion, it all went downhill.
Thorn and TLW deserved a nerf legendary HCs did not. Hawkmoon doesn't deserve it's nerf, it's already hard to use. Auto buff was cool, pulse nerf was not. Scout buff was cool, fusion rifle (5th?) Nerf was not. I'm still waiting on the pocket infinity fix bungie (my fav gun). The pve nerfs were beyond stupid. And before you all say gally was OP, black hammer was OP, icebreaker was OP blah blah blah... The bullet sponge bosses don't make the game fun. Atheon is fun, crota is okay, skolas is okay, every other boss is god awful. If we can't sustain fire on valus taaruc (black hammer) we are forced to shoot twice and hide from his rocket launcher machine gun. If we can't shoot stun phogoth we are forced to shoot twice and hide from his constant void attack.
And the perk nerfs? The +/- perks are so stupid, in order to increase stability I HAVE to give up something else? Why would I specicialize a gun. The whole point on primary guns is to be reliable in different situations, not have one really good stat, and one absolute shit one.
In recent weeks I become increasing upset with my experience in this once fun game. Now I just ask why? Why play a game that frustrates the hell out of me? The only reason I lasted this long is because of the people I met and played with.

These guys in particular made this frustrating game fun.
I may come back bungie if your next overpriced dlc somehow amazes people, but knowing you that's doubtful.
I wish I played halo and saw what the real bungie was like, not this POS carcass parading a name
And before you people say I'm just seeking attention, you're right but not from you "Desticles". I want bungie to see that yet another fan and a supporter has left.
And before the "git gud scrub" shit comes, you can check my KD, it's probably better than 80% of you people.
And before the "bye Felicia" and "don't let the door hit you on the way out" posts you all can save it, it just proves you're so far up Bungies ass that you cant see reality.
And for the record yes I am salty, so you can save those posts too
Good bye

Deej looks at post Deej: "Oh no..." *Deej runs out of his house, gets in his car to get to the office. It breaks down. So he goes on foot. He crosses the deserts, climbs mountains, sail the deadly seas. He must get this information to Harold Ryan, the president of Bungie. Finally, Deej reaches his destination. He is exhausted. Deej is drenched in sweat and hardly able to breath. He could fall over dead any minute. Deej: "Mr. Ryan, Goodbye has quit" Ryan: "Who?" Deej: "Goodbye, sir..." Ryan: "My god...bring me the button." *Deej breaks open a glass box on the wall labeled Use in case of emergency. He pulls out a button from the scattered remains and hands it to Ryan. Ryan pushes the button Confetti pops everywhere and a banner drops that reads No One Cares in bright bold letters. A faint "Yea" can be heard in the background. Ryan: "Money well spent." *Looks over to Deej* Ryan: "Now get back to work and remember to tell me every time someone quits. I just love using this button." Feel free to copy and paste. :)

34 답변I remember my first nightfall, 3 of us tried and failed so many times. It was week 1, Sepiks arc burn. We stood huddled in a Titan bubble, outgunned and under-levelled, and only two of us had arc weapons. After hours and several attempts, we gave up. **** 1,000 hours later I walk up to Sepiks, wearing ancient Vault of Glass armour plundered from time itself and holding my Black Hammer, a LEGENDARY sniper rifle plucked from the bones of a slain God and infused with etheric light from the depths of the Awoken Queen's treasure hoard in reward for slaying the treacherous Kel of Kels, Skolas. Now I am the boss, now I am the powerful one. I ignore the pitiful minions and hammer away at Sepiks, I line my shots up with practiced precision - this time there is no bubble, this time there is no hiding, only the sound of my hammer rhythmically cracking away at the once powerful servitor like a rusty nail. Within minutes he is dead. I occasionally think back to that time when we couldn't beat him and remember just how far I've come. Investment ... The feeling of being powerful and rewarded is central and critical to video games. God forbid I defeat a god with his own sword and get rewarded with some awesome tool and use it to be more powerful. God forbid I become legend. 2.0 is troubling because it changes the nature of gear we have spent a very long time with, gear we spent a long time trying to get (it took nearly 100 tries for my Black Hammer), gear we upgraded and then upgraded again with etheric light (some exotics had to be levelled twice!), gear we've gotten attached to over the course of hundreds of battles. So this 2.0 feels very deflating, it goes against the feeling of growth and investment. It makes me less excited about getting new gear because it could get fundamentally changed. It makes me less attached to gear I already cherish - what if Bungie decides Fatebringer's firefly is just too powerful for a hand cannon? Bungie, you wanted our guns to tell a story. Well, that's my story. I worked hard to get that gun and it's very special to my guardian. Please don't end that story with "and then one day my incredible sniper was suddenly really ineffective so I didn't really bother using it anymore. - shadow artiste

These post are all the same, "I was so exited, so loyal, so patients with bungie, but they screwed up to many times, so I'm leaving. Did I mention everything I did in this game to prove my loyalty? Because I did a lot. From the very beginning. The beginning. I was there.... Now I'm leaving, because I am tired of being loyal, since the beginning. The beginning."

3 답변I completely agree with every point you made. I started in alpha, to beta and day one release. The game started off fairly entertaining, except for the 'story'. Once they decided to "fix" things, it went downhill very fast. Ever since the first few updates, the game has been one-sided, favoring warlocks above all, and it still continues to persist. Some of my biggest concerns, other than warlocks being OP in every way, the weapon debuffing has always been terrible. Recently, its not even a question of what primary people will be using. Thorn and Last Word should not be as powerful as they are. Considering both of them can out-gun any scout rifle, and in some cases a few sniper rifles, youd think it wouldnt take an entire year for them to realize they should be nerfed. The thing that ruined the game for me was Invective. It was the first exotic I got and it has always been my favorite. However, since they decided to basically remove the ammo regen on it, a Found Verdict is more practical than Invective. I used to find the game fun when there was a reason to run strikes or nightfalls or even just waiting for xur. But now, there is no point in doing any of that, which leaves PvP or trials as the only fun thing to do. I use the word 'fun' very loosely considering how insanely unbalanced it all is. I am done with Destiny as well, and I have been done for a while. Ill still keep updated on any weapon changes or any other updates they may apply in hopes that this once great game will make a comeback, though it is extremely doubtful. Sadly, Bungie probably doesnt give a damn about all the people that are mad about the way the game turned out, because there will always be those people that are willing to waste money on the very disappointing dlc

44 답변SUROS Regime was known as ARCUS Regime and you could switch firing modes. Red Death was supposed to be an Auto Rifle, but the devs realized that there were less Pulse Rifles so they switched things around and the perk was supposed to heal you IF you scored a precision kill. You were able to equip any gun be it legendary or exotic way before hitting lvl 20. But in favor of end game mechanics, the devs scrapped that idea. Sniper Rifles were supposed to be on the Heavy slot and hand cannons on the special slot. But the devs felt that it didn't quite fit in for some unexplained reason. Kinda stupid this one actually. Gjallarhorn was known as Ragnarok during its first stages of development and the perk was actually called Gjallarhorn, but that changed obviously. A perk only achieved after fully leveling up a subclass granted that final bit of attributes to max out either armor, recovery, and agility. But the devs and their shenanigans scrapped the idea. When gear was fully leveled, you could purchase a final upgrade which increased defense and attack but locked out previous choices. You could equip any armor type and still be able to reach the max light level, but this never made it to the final stage of development. Khvostov 7G-02 was going to be the first stage of an exotic Auto Rifle called "Ancestor" it description was "A lost gun in a lost world. But thanks to you, it has reached the pinnacle of it's existence." One of it's perks was known as "Ancient Ally" which granted more super energy upon a kill and spawned an orb of light when scoring a precision kill. Another perk was known as "Vengeance." This perk increased weapon damage, at the cost of reload speed. Even though "Ancestor" was a futuristic version of Khvostov 7G-02, one of the sights for this gun was "The Broken Visor" which is the one we know today. Hard Light had a final perk which made it an ARC weapon, but locked out previous choices, so the devs dropped the perk. Warlocks had a final perk which made it possible to max out the recovery attribute, same with Titans and Hunters, but for Titans it was armor, and for Hunters it was agility. Crest of Alpha Lupi was going to be a reward from Alpha Lupi herself after rescuing her from the Fallen, but this along with the original story of Destiny was scrapped out. Thorn was only obtainable via Charlemagne's Vault, but it was turned into a bounty instead. Charlemagne's Vault is a raid located on Mars, below the Dust Palace. The final boss for this raid was supposed to be Charlemagne himself, a mad Guardian gone rouge and working with the cabal. Every exotic had a specific task in order to acquire them. SUROS Regime was obtainable after bringing golden age blueprints to SUROS and making them fabricate the weapon using the blueprints. Thunderlord (before the E3 presentation) was obtainable after defeating a Fallen Baron and looting his vault. Patience and Time was a gift from Cayde-6 himself after completing his final personal mission. Ikora Rey gifted you Invective, and Commander Zavala gifted you Gjallarhorn after finding the armor and weapon parts of fallen Guardians during the battle of Twilight gap. These armor and weapon parts could only be found while exploring Twilight Gap and defeating special enemies and bosses located there. Fate of All Fools was obtainable after completing the Trials of Osiris (Not the multiplayer mode) before the rework of Destiny, you must complete special trials made by Osiris himself in order to gain access to a portion of the game, this was scrapped and made into a bounty instead. Hard Light was a gift from the Reef. The Vex Mythoclast was obtained after clearing VoG (This hasn't changed). Super Good Advice could only be obtained by finding it. Supposedly, you had to hunt down Kabr and his team after disappearing all of a sudden. You would encounter them except Kabr, approaching Pahanim's corpse would trigger a cutscene explaining what happened and your guardian picking up Super Good Advice. This weapon also had a personality itself and could interact with the player and say things when shooting and killing enemies. Also, after the cutscene, you stand before the VoG, unlocking the raid in the process. Vault of Glass consisted of rescuing Kabr and fighting along side him against Atheon, he would then sacrifice himself and forge Aegis Shield, allowing your team to finish off Atheon. But after the rework of the story of the game, this was scrapped and made into a Grimoire instead. The Queen's brother is known as Crow. Before accessing the reef, you had to survive waves of Fallen in the arena. Doing so would then grant you a session with the queen and continue the story. Humans, Exos, and Awoken had different story lines. The story line we know today is from the Exo. The human story line consisted of you surviving a Fallen raid and arriving at the city, you would seek refuge at the Tower, there Ghost would approach you and make you a Guardian, for it sensed the light within you. The Awoken started at the reef, being judged by the queen and eventually exiled form the reef. You would then fight your way out and arrive to the Last City. Earth was supposed to be the last planet to be unlocked and most difficult one to complete. There are 3 factions not present in the game. There is a 5th enemy race, supposedly the one with the triangle ships. The Fallen and the Cabal are actually allies. We can't see that because there isn't an area were the 2 races are together. The Hive hasn't encountered the Cabal and the Vex yet. The fallen is the only race to have encountered all other races. Before the rework of Destiny, Guardians had AI followers to choose from. Companions to aid you in battle. The Exo stranger, Crow, and rougue Guardians were part of the roster of companions who tagged along during missions and arena battles on the reef. Kinda how the Arbiter and SGT Johnson helped you back in Halo 3, but with improved mechanics and AI of course. But unfortunately, this was scrapped and fireteams were introduced. Still prefer AI companions... they don't go AFK during a match. (note: this fact about Talkative-9 is a rumor, so I'm not 100%, but nonetheless, I think it's hilarious. Credit goes to AftermathSoldier07) There was a funny, mysterious vendor called Talkative-9. He always appeared during missions and strikes. The role of Talkative-9 was to jump into a nasty firefight along with the Guardians and start to talk to them and offer sweet deals and items for purchase. Talkative-9 could be killed by the enemy, doing so would increase his stock prices immensely the next time he appeared, so Guardians must tolerate his annoying banter and protect him from the enemy. After clearing the area, you could then interact with Talkative-9 and see his wares. They supposedly ranged from common weapons to legendary weapons and armors. And upgrade materials. His currency was motes of light, glimmer, and materials. Talkative-9 is not an exo, he is a drone like those found in the Tower. Xur, the infamous Agent of the Nine, didn't sell exotic weapons and armor. Instead, he provided items that could increase the light level of all armors that were rare or legendary. He also sold items that upgraded weapons as well. Last but not least, Xur was the only way to fully upgrade an exotic item. He also sold materials and engrams. Bad Juju was supposed to be a VOID weapon, Last Word was SOLAR, and Hard Light was ARC. Patience and Time had a perk that allowed you to shoot ammo boxes and collect the ammo from any distance. Ice Breaker was obtainable by bringing a broken sniper rifle to Banshee-44. He would then attempt to fix it, but instead he breaks it again. But he actually perfected it, hence receiving Ice Breaker. The Last Word was obtainable by defeating Malphur in a 1V1 combat on the arena. It was part of the story, before bungie reworked it all up. Truth was obtainable by doing a special mission for the Speaker. He would give you an amulet that needed to be brought to Xur. Xur would then hand over a Launcher. Bringing this Launcher to Banshee would then be crafted into Truth. Universal Remote was only obtainable by raiding the Cabal Imperial Land Tank. It was part of the Story, before Bungie reworked the story of Destiny. Shaxx was supposed to appear along side Saladin during Iron Banner events. Saladin handed over armors and class items, while Shaxx geared you up with weapons and buffs. The lovely cryptarch... There were supposed to be 3 cryptarchs. A human and exo along with the awoken bastard we know today. You could interact with the Fallen found on the reef. There was even supposed to be a Fallen vendor. She would sell primarily ARC weapons and armors with high discipline. During a mission on the Reef, your primary objective was to escort a wounded Dreg to the queen. Failing the mission would lead to the execution of the Dreg, completing it however, would still lead to the execution of the Dreg, but you get a reward from the Queen. This was scrapped after the rework of the story. Remember that Earth was supposed to be the last planet to unlock? Well, after a mission, a cutscene shows your guardian escaping from the Reef. He is shot down and crash landed on Earth. See that big crashed ship on Earth we see today? That was supposed to be YOUR ship. After the crash, you would then have to find a new ship. Which is the same one we get when we first started Destiny

3 답변Been here for over 8 years and been forum legendary status before. You are right on your opinion now of bungie. It's a real pity as the first sign of trouble came when the website rehauled for destiny and they didn't help the old ninjas. Nevee thought I'd see the day bungie don't even know their own world domination steps, but more so the weekly updates are nothing compared to the halo ones we got

8 답변I haven't decided if I'm going to keep playing or not. The shooting mechanics are fun but I find that every other aspect of the game is stale. New enemies in taken King, don't you mean the same enemies with a different color and they shake? I want to love destiny but I just can't, I've excused their crap for so long but this latest weapon patch might be the end for me. Bullet sponge bosses aren't spongy enough, let's nerf all the staple boss weapons. I was fine with the grind at first but a year later, I'm tired. I'm tired of all the weasels I still get, I'm tired of omnigul and phogoth, arc burns, and no drops of any kind from dropping from skolas because you want to get some sleep before your kids will be awake in 2 hours. Something about taken King will have to amaze me otherwise, I'm out as well. So many other great games have been overlooked because I'm still playing destiny, I think it's time to expand my horizons.

3 답변I agree with you mate. I'm actually sitting here wanting to play something on the ps4 and just can't bring myself to pick up Destiny. The people I used to play with have all gone and I'm only missing 'no land beyond' to complete my exotic weapons. I loved the journey but I feel my flame has distinguished. I cancelled my order of TTK because it comes out just after Metal Gear Solid V and Destiny will just get in the way because the game makes you play daily in the fear of falling behind. Good bye Guardian and thanks for helping to destroy the darkness. Snake....snake.....SNAAAAKE!

1 답변Ive stopped playing a few weeks to a month or two ago. Once ESO came out i decided to put my time grinding into that. Destiny was a fun game but now i won't even touch it. With all these gun stat changes, its only turning the game into trash. Instead of affecting the gameplay, why not invest your time in a story? But that's not my business. Bungie, you sold out, enjoy your terrible game, I'll play a real mmo.

1 답변Another one of these, I don't like destiny anymore and I want bungie to see it post. They don't care about you or some post you left on the forums. Maybe if all the people who cry about the game actually leave then bungie might take notice but let's be honest, that's not happening. Also I love the whole if you still enjoy the game you must be up bungie's ass attitude. Real classy and a good way to make whatever bungie employee reads the forums to actually take what you have to say seriously. Lol At the end of the day most of these post sound the same, spoiled and entitled people venting because they want everything to stay the same and be op. You ever thought that the fact that the ghorn is so good that you can solo with it? Why leave a weapon so broken in the game it melts down bosses and breaks (poorly designed) bosses. Why leave weapons in the game that allow you to sit in cheese spots and basically have infinite ammo? Now some of the blame has to be put on bungie for designing bosses and raids that encourages and allows these type of tactics to be used. Also it's ridiculous that we have to wait for a new dlc /expansion to have weapons balanced better for pvp. Also it's Unacceptable they can't figure out a way to Improve pve or pvp without hurting the other. I'm just sick and tired of the tone of people in their post. They all sound the same. Everybody makes it seem like everything bungie has done after release is horrible and that their leaving the game is going to change Bungie's mind. Everybody goes on to talk about nobody asked to nerf the black hammer, icebreaker and ghally. Well the main reason is that they were op in pve and pve players like op shit to kill bosses faster regardless of if its good for the game or not. They want to blast through content and then ask for more. When those are the most commonly used weapons in their respective category that's a good indication they are really good. Now I don't agree with every change, but most make sense. What I think is the biggest problem with the game is horrible boss design for some activities. Their is too much damage being put out so you have to hide in cheese spots. Or you have limited time to actually inflict damage to boss because of a random shield. So you you need the best dps weapon to get through it in a respectable time. That's were weapons like icebreaker and ghorn shine. Now they can't nerf these weapons without changing their philosophy on boss fights in the next expansion. Well just the rambling of a frustrated me when it comes to the game and the people who post it.
