Nearly 4000 pathetic players that need a crutch to beat end-game content and counting... Love it.
It's a small nerf you guys. It was needed, should of been done before Christmas at the least.
Next person who says "DURR, You're just a noob!" Search PSN SoloSinner. I main Playstation. And my level or experience (both I lack none of) changes the fact that you need a crutch 😀 have a nice day.
Edit: I may be coming off as a bit of an asshole, but I think we all need a bit of a wake-up call. Exotics were never meant to be boss breaking weapons like Ghorn is so famous for. Exotics were meant to bring something unique to the battlefield and possibly even change the way you strategies an encounter.
With the "walk in with Ghorns blazin'!!!" Mentality we've all (including myself) become accustomed to, there is no uniqueness... or much strategy. And some pretty sick exotics, collect dust in our vaults.

Gotta agree with you solo. Why use any other heavy exotic when you have ghorn? I sometimes switch my heavy depending on burns but that's it. Ghorn is literally the only weapon I use for heavy in end pve content. With this nerf I'll have a reason to switch it up more often between heavy exotics! I can't wait lol

You can't say it's a small nerf when the only thing that they have said is a decrease in damage of wolf pack rounds. Which I find pretty interesting because every other change they have very specific numbers and changes that were gonna be made but not the Gjallarhorn. That's what I want to know give us a number on the damage decrease in the wolf pack rounds

And another thing is I know for me is that I kept playing for so long chasing after the elusive Gjallarhorn for a long time. I'm sure that there are a lot of other people in the same situation. So depending on this nerf will people keep playing for so long chasing after it. Or does bungie have a different strong exotic with the taken king that people will be chasing after for hundreds and thousands of hours. So this nerf might shoot bungie in the foot and make people stop playing their game all together.

I get people want it or just got it and are heart broken and it sucks. That's why I said this should of happened a long time ago, there would be a lot less crying. At this point though, I think players will keep finding reasons to play even after they find what they so desperately wanted. I think many people have been there and just keep playing because it's fun.

작성자: Psi Optics 7/17/2015 4:03:52 PMYou only have 2 Titans and are both level 26. At your level you would probably need to be carried in Vanguard Dragon. I like Gjallahorn because it is fun. It is a combination of being unique and powerful for me. I am tired of putting in putting X amount of hours into this game and constantly having my weapons change for the worse. I don't expect to play this game until they take back some of their nerfs. But they probably won't because they think that we will just throw money at our screens to get content that changes whenever it pleases when it should be closer to concrete. Well there is the new Fallout which can keep me busy until ME4. Might give Halo 5 a chance even though I haven't liked Halo since Halo 3.

I didn't have a "crutch" in Halo 3. I am usually very humble but I was better than a large percentage of players and we all had the same weapons. I am sorry that you can't comprehend that Gjallahorn is actually fun for people. The only difference now is that it will take me a little longer to kill Skolas big deal. Since they took away burn we all have to deal with him and get dismantle mines. Nerfing a weapon besides Solar Burn is not getting rid of a crutch but making the activity take longer.
BTW most of us have beaten every Nightfall a week when there was no Solar burn so technically not a crutch overall Skolas Solar was the only time I saw Gjally as a real cructh
LMFAO now you're going to judge me because I prefer awoken over boring humans and odd looking robots? Nice try, sweetheart. I see you've got over 8k kills with your Gjally, no wonder you're so butthurt. Removing that crutch is gonna hinder your abilities quite a lot, huh? ;)

I want to see other weapons become viable options in end-game... starting a new account on Xbox has reminded me how much A LOT of people really do rely on this weapon. I'm only talking about Ghorn. Black hammer and Ice breaker has me on the fence too.

I don't want to sound redundant but starting over with nothing has also got me in touch with exotics that I wouldn't normaly choose over Ghorn. Like Thunderlord for example, it's an EPIC machine gun but seems like a waste to my heavy and exotic slot when I have Ghorn... I've been forced to use TL instead and I find myself really happy to bring it into raids and that's just one exotic. I've since gone back to Playstation and started pulling dusty exotics out of my vault and have been having a blast and want them to be a solid choice.
