Gjallarhorn owners meeting
This is a message to all owners of the one true exotic. We must let bungie know that they cannot mess with our gally without resistance from the community. This is a post that will let the community discuss the recently announced upcoming nerf to the gally. What is the point of working for these end game guns if they just end up getting nerfed into the ground every couple of months? I spent the time to get this exotic and I will not sit around as bungie just destroys the weapon I worked and farmed for. Post your feelings, whatever they may be, and let's see if we can get bungie to listen to the community. Anyone is welcome to comment, whether or not they agree with leaving the gjallarhorn the way it is, but I ask those who do comment in favor of a nerf to look at this situation from a stand point of someone who has worked hundreds of hours to get the gally. Bungie will listen to the community and so I ask those who have a gally or just don't want it to be nerfed to leave a comment so Bungie can see that we want to keep it the way it is.
Edit #1- Thanks for all the feedback and comments and please keep them coming. Also some people don't like that in my post I stated the gally is the one true exotic but this was just for dramatic effect. I know there are other great exotics that are just as good. The comment wasn't meant to come off as elitist but it did, so sorry.
Edit #2- keep the comments rolling in and let bungie know your opinion. Thanks to all those who have shared so far. I would also like to see what you guys think about the black hammer and ice breaker nerf. Let me and your fellow guardians know and keep in mind that everyone has a different perspective and opinions. I think the black hammer nerf takes away what makes the gun special and there's no point to using it as white nail acts like a worse extended mag. They could just make it exotic or leave it alone but that's just my opinion. The ice breaker nerf is a little annoying and uncalled for in my eyes. What do you think?

Edit #6- I'm done with this thread. It has become apparent that this community lacks the ability to discuss this subject in a mature and respectful way. I'm sick of the comments and hearing about the nerf so please stop commenting. I made this post over a week ago and I couldn't care less about this nerf at this point.

1 답변Bungie already lost me when they announced the nerfs I'm actually a lot happier not dealing with their shitty weapon balancing and lack of story or things to do.... I cancelled TTK collectors edition and will not play the expansion at all just enjoy my time and wait for Halo and Battlefront to come out

22 답변It's a damn shame if they nerf it (again). The only people who cry nerf are babies and people without them. Bungie is stupid to listen to the minority when it comes to weapons. Most people who have it are enjoying their weapon instead of crying on the forums. These kids need to grow up and grow a pair. Just because you get wrecked by a weapon doesn't mean it's overpowered, it means you suck. You people make me sick. Go back to pokemon.

I got my first gally from the death singer. My second gally from a lvl 28 Dragon strike. And my third 24 hr later from and nightfall , just hold in there guy , you will get one soon. And trust me I never turn anybody away when playing destiny if they don't have a gally. I say don't nerf it yet until the people don't have it get it so they can feel the raw power of it ,in action.

I'm pleased they're doing it. I'm too reliant on mine and really need a change. I don't want to be using it for ten years. It will still be a top exotic (if it can be ascended again!!!). It's getting an increase in blast (as are all RL's). It STILL has Wolfpack rounds, so it will STILL outperform existing RL's.

A lower damage output across the board means that perhaps they can do things other than create bullet sponges. Or I'm completely wrong and they just want events to take longer. Either way I personally don't care. The only real effect is on solar burn.

3 답변I like how you think it's your property. Bungie owns the game not you! They can do whatever they want to it! You need to understand that they aren't going to change it because people aren't happy. they know it needs to be nerfed because people weren't able to do raids without the gally. So stfu.
