Bye bye Gjallarhorn.
The Gjallarhorn is a very sought after weapon not because that's the only way you can join VoG, Crota, Poe. But because it is indeed a bad-ass weapon. Very destructive, and no foe, human or npc stand a chance against it.
Bungie, while you post a very compelling and disappointing (on part of the players) point. Your idea to correct the issue is almost non-logical and probably a tad stupid. You mention that players who own a Gjallarhorn will look for other players that own one too and chastise players that don't. You mention that a player who don't own Gjallarhorn is missing out from the full Destiny experience in part because of other players want to be partnered with other players who own a Gjallarhorn too. So your plan to stop this issue is by nerfing a top tier weapon, an EXOTIC weapon.
I think that a better solution would be to sell it. Just like Xûr sells other exotic weapons and armor. Or maybe make it available trough an "Exotic Weapon Bounty", much like Thorn.
But no, you much rather weaken the experience for players. Many who have been here since September 9 2014.
Well, that's enough for me Bungie. Between the comments made by Luke Smith (If I fired up a video right now and showed you the emotes you would throw money at the screen.) The pricing on the CE game. That fixes of bugs that really never needed to be fixed and the fact that important and wanted fixes have not been made. I'm done with Destiny. I own 2 copies of Destiny. One for my PS4 account and one for my XBO account. And I have purchased the DLC twice for both systems. But I'm done. I will not buy the next DLC, I will not continue to give my money to a company that keeps finding ways to ruin my experience. I'm done...

I have been playin since the release i have every weapons and have helped hundreds with my ghorn BH and ice breaker ect.. and for you guys to do this to the hard pve fans is showing how shitty your takin king will be i cant believe you nerft our guns just because your new dlc wouldn't be able to handle the REAL GHORN AND THE BOTTOMLESS BLACK HAMMER... dont destroy our guns just for your raid to prevail that much more

1 답변Gjallarhorn has needed a nerf for a long time and should have never been in the game the way it was. No one weapon should ever have 4 times the damage of all of the other weapons in it's class. But the changes to Ice Breaker and Black Hammer have made them both completely not worth using. What they should have done was buffed both of them: [b]Black Hammer's ammo reserve should have been increased to 21 rounds instead of 15 and Ice Breaker's ammo reserve should have been increased to 8 rounds instead of six.[/b]

The only reason this gally prejudice exists is because Bungie refuses to put in Matchmaking for end game content. When I go into LFG to run POE I look for a balanced group one Titan one Hunter one Warlock. Does that mean they will not allow balanced groups anymore and dictate who you can grab from LFG. Bungie you guys blew it.

18 답변I hear what you're saying man but still disagree - and not because I still don't have a gally (well, maybe partly :) ) The thing is - there just shouldn't be a weapon, regardless of whether it's an exotic or not, that's so good it makes all others in it's class redundant. That's not good for anyone. As things stand there's no reason to use any other rocket launcher if you have a gally - or any other exotic weapon for the most part either.

12 답변I have gally. Still agree with the nerf. This forum is over run with anger because the boss killing machine they have is taking little a hit. I mean come on. Killing atheon in 1 teleport on hard is just stupid. It felt great but it was too easy. This community needs to sometimes realise when to take it on the chin.

So Bye bye ! I have 3 gjallarhorns (one on each character), and i'm perfecty fine with the nerf ! I can't accept beating Qodron with 3 gallys and a titan's bubble. That's no challenge ! I played with other players that were unable to beat him the proper way. Same for Crota... Two rockets and he's down... Really ? Gjallarhorn's nerf should have been applied way sooner !

The gally was the iconic centerpiece of this game in the public eye... Bungie is gambling when making a change to the face of the title. Even they embraced it.. E3 featured the Gally.. Bungie Day featured the Gally... be careful messing with the face of a budding title.
