The husk drop rate has increased but is still low. As for the crux I think you just got really lucky

I doubt that the Crux drop rate has increased... For the past three weeks I have been running Crota and VOG hard with all three of my characters. At this point I still have no Vex or Crux. Keep in mind I started doing Hard Raids since TDB. I am also convinced that running the relic and sword make you less likely to get the Raid exotics. Last night I ran the sword for Crota Hard and did not get the Crux, instead a friend who was on his third Crota Hard Raid recieved the Crux. Haha, Raid RNG hates me.

Just do the first Crota mission and kill the blade again and again, it will seem like it's never gonna drop but trust me it will. I had to do it around 20 times before my first husk of the pit dropped

The drop rate has always been low, but now it can only drop from one enemy as he is the only blade left.
