Explain your answer, I'd say no because it fulfilled a certain niche that an exotic should do.

4 답변it was just fine before... looks like ill be breaking out my e.spear with field scout, surplus and clown cartridge. 6-8 round mag 24 in reserves 1 green box = 20 rounds.

1 답변Pretty stupid, really. If I'm bored and decide to camp-snipe-solo something, they just made it drag out for longer. Guess it gives me time to grab another beer?

1 답변They really have to fix this nerf I think. At the least, increase base ammo to 8 rounds and start with 3 in the box after revive. They've completely eliminated even the possibility of using this for pvp. Or, increase base to 12 so that you can bank up rounds for a while and allow picking up ammo packages. They've really destroyed icebreaker with this nerf.

Ice breaker was a useful tool and I have seen many raids mat he's lost even with a full team of icebreakers. By extending it's recharge time some of the novelty and usefulness of the tool has been taken from it. I understand wanting to nerd things for the generally whiney and complaint driven pvp players however bringing these nerf's over to pve was unnecessary.

3 답변5 seconds already felt like an eternity! This will just make me think twice to pull out the weapon.

The shitty part is, I actually like using Ice breaker as a wepon, not just to stock up ammo. They have effectively made this gun useless other than to take almost a minute to get some ammo to switch back. It won't stop people from using camping methods, it will just take longer.

6 답변What's the point in increasing the recharge time? I really don't get it. It's gonna take more time. Games are supposed to be fun.

Yes. So much of the end-game in PvE has become either hanging back and sniping with Ice Breakers.....or rolling up with multiple Ghorns and blowing the screen up. The fact that two boss fights in the PoEs had to be "nerfed", shows that Bungie was finding it harder to make boss fights that were hard enough so that multiple Ghorns or Ice Breakers couldn't make a mockery of it.....while still being easy enough to be playable by teams that don't have these weapons.
