5 답변The patch was alright except for Black Hammer. I kind of agree with Bungie's changes to these guns. Auto rifles were buffed, fusion rifles were rarely changed in stats, and perks didn't really matter. But what bugged me was Field Scout and Final Round being nerfed. Those are some,of my favorite perks since I love sniper rifles so those should have been untouched.

작성자: Basskick 7/24/2015 12:36:41 AMSolely my opinions. Thorn: won't comment. The Last Word: it had it coming. The range was absurd for a gun that's meant to be a close quarter destroyer. Fusion rifle: can't say anything until I play with some of them after the patch lands. Hawkmoon: don't know the reason for the nerf as it was the only exotic hand cannon that required some skill to get kills and most people don't even have it. Gjallarhorn: I have a feeling it will still be the most powerful weapon in the game. Cannot give further comments until I actually know the extent of the wolf pack nerf. Ice breaker: will still be the camp maker lol. Rocket launchers: I mostly use machine guns. Might make a difference in Trials maybe? Auto Rifles: Yay! *prepares to brush off the dust from the ol' Hardlight* Pulse rifles: don't think it will make that much of a difference. I will still love my Messenger. Scout rifles: intrigued to see the new changes. Shotguns: they had it coming. I'm a shotgun user in the crucible as well and even I started thinking that we are relying on that class of weapon too much. There was a time when I loved using some fusion rifles in pvp (LIGHT/Beware anyone?) Sniper rifles: finally. No more goddam final rounds. I'm pretty sure a lot of people will love to play Trials now, including me. If you can't pop a head, why use a sniper in the first place? Blackhammer: disappointed to see the perk get nerfed. Why not make the perk a bit different? Like it will take ammo from the reserve but only one bullet per precision chain? In that way the ammo will eventually run out and we will have to look for special ammo crates. My opinion solely. Necrochasm: *explodes like a cursed thrall* No Land Beyond: use it. Will use it even more to piss off people in pvp and bring my Fireteam down lol. To people interested, no I don't use the thorn, last word or Hawkmoon like a religion. I experiment with a lot of guns. The reason I didn't comment about the Thorn is that a million people use it in pvp. It's almost as if the crucible doesn't have any variations. But then again you have to use the gun you worked so hard to get right? I know I had to. The only nerf I had in mind about the Thorn, was that keep everything as it is and just cancel out the DoT if the guardian using the Thorn is killed. Would make a lot of gunfights interesting. I do use the Shotgun like it's a part of my everyday life lol but pretty interested to see if the nerf will allow the other secondaries to make a comeback or not. Thank you to anyone who read my entire comment!

5 답변It's dumb. The way they said "gjallarhorn was meant to be powerful but not divide the community" or however they said it doesn't make sense. How about you quit making every boss in the game a ridiculous bullet sponge that only gjallarhorn effects?! Why not make more bosses like Atheon where other guns that lots of people have like icebreaker and black hammer are so much better to use then gjally?! But nvm to that because both of those weapons are being nerfed to shit too!!
-
Icebreaker: wont make a difference, people will still sit back and take their sweet time Black Hammer: now redundant, I have a feeling that theres going to be a new exotic sniper that replaces the pre-nerf BH. Gjallarhorn: wont change a thing. If its the best launcher, people will still demand it. If its nerfed into irrelevance, a new 'must-have' will be chosen and demanded. Fusion Rifles: -_- *facedesk* Shotguns: PvP, fair enough I guess. PvE nerf, dafuq?!

I hate the changes to ice breaker and black hammer as it will render both weapons useless. I can ignore the ghorn nerf though I hate the statistic they are using to justify it as equipped and used aren't the same thing. I'm a bit annoyed by the shotgun nerf because they just became useful in pve and now they're getting nerfed again to suit pvp. I don't mind the rest of it but those points really tick me off.

9 답변작성자: CarpentryHero 7/21/2015 2:47:26 PMThe weapon tuning that effects pvp I'm happy with, how they carry over into PVE has me concerned. The BlackHammer and icebreaker nerfs make it so that I likely won't be using either anymore. I'll reroll an Eferdeets Spear for surplus and field scout and use that instead

Please Read This Bungie, I must admit that I am quite confused. Many of these problems that are to be addressed with this new update seem to clash directly with earlier ones that were released to correct problems created by even earlier updates. It might be safe to say we're chasing our tails at this point. One thing that I really appreciate about you guys at Bungie as that you do listen to the responses of the public. Never before has a gaming company cared to not only listen to reviews, but has taken action based on those opinions. However, it is this same willingness to listen and change that could hurt this particular game. I fear that people like myself (that have been with Destiny since the release date and purchased multiple copies to play on several different systems) may grow old of the back and forth with changing the game to make things better, people new to the game complaining because they don't have weapons that "day one" players have, and you then nerfing the weapons back down to nothing again to try and appease a small portion of your market. I didn't write all of this to express views on any one particular weapon but in general, why have exotic weapons if your are chipping away at their very essences which makes them exotic? Why have legendaries if they are only to later be nerfed to nothing? Why will people that have been here through all of these changes continue to play this game versus the next one? I'm sure you all are keenly aware of the need to define a line/standard that will remain. That standard has got to remain just that though. Again, I love how open and transparent you all are with notifying us, the gaming community, of these changes, that's awesome. There has got to be a limit though. Embrace this motto, we can't win them all. Once you have produced a product, and a great one at that, you have got to stand behind it. You have sculpted a great game, then, somehow managed to add to its beauty by increasing things that may have been overlooked. Now it seems you've set out to slowly destroy your work of art because some people were displeased with what you've created. Ask yourselves, what progress has been made if we are going back to the way things were?

I honestly gave a shit about gally and bh at first but I don't anymore. I'll try the patch and see how it is before I make any drastic decisions. I never used them as a crutch though and I never thought they were op. I've beaten bosses like quodron fast with the gally but I've played it the right way more. I can count on one hand all the times I've used the black hammer though which isn't much since there's way more than 5 enemies or bosses in the game. I've played without the help of any of the weapons and I still don't use the gally or bh all the time either. I can honestly say that it's just nice to know you have more than 1 strategy to defeat an enemy.

작성자: xorcamanx 7/20/2015 4:48:45 PMI think the wolfpack nerf is fine if it doesn't go more the 35%. The black hammer nerf definitely makes the gun less powerful than the former, turning the main perk into an insta reload now, and I honestly am kind of pissed at that. Ice breakers nerf I would be fine with IF they did a buff with it, such as letting the gun spawn with full ammo or similarly. Everything else was fine though.

6 답변Mostly, I'm fine with it. That said, there are problems. I think the icebreaker nerf was unwarranted. I can understand slowing the ammo generation, but almost doubling the time required? That's uncalled for. I think The Last Word nerf went too far, especially with the global handcannon changes. I think the shotgun nerf is unwarranted. Damage starts falling off at about 15 yards even with shotguns maximized for range. That's not unreasonable. If shotguns are dominating PvP, it's because of map design. I'm insulted that fusion rifles are being nerfed while calling it a buff. (Evidently as an indication of exactly how hard shotguns are going to get hit.) I'm concerned about the pulse rifle nerf. It won't take them back to where they used to be, but... I am concerned that special weapons are being nerfed into more parity with primary weapons, without any indication that enemies will likewise be downgraded to match our lowered offensive potential. I don't blame them for nerfing the ghorn. That said... The ghorn is not a problem, but a symptom. With better boss battles, it becomes a non factor. But with ridiculous bullet sponges that we get a couple of shots on between waves of ever increasing strength? Well, in that case, ghorn is life.

3 답변Things people refuse to mention: Auto rifle damage buff. Increase mag size to scout and pulse rifles. Damage buff to high-medium rof scouts. Nit-pickers: Ghorn wolfpack nerf which honestly won't matter if there are 3-6 people firing at a single target just like normal. Icebreaker 8 second bullet regen, wtf does an extra 15 seconds matter? Oh thats right it doesnt. Thorn got its well deserved nerf because it is a pvp weapon whether we like to admit it or not. Black hammer, how often are you actually going to string together 18 crit shots in a row anyway, very unlikely. The more likely situation is whatever you are trying to kill will be dead before 18 crit shots in a row if you have a good fireteam. The rest of the nerfs are miniscule honestly.

Why do people hate it so much? There's actually damage falloff to Auto Rifles, which is a great idea, it ain't about being the best, in that one lobby I want everyone to have a good time just like some of us. If you're angry about Ghallarhorn getting nerfed, then you really need to think about that. Bungie wants weapon variety, every company that actually cares wants to see everyone using something different instead of just one thing. Also you can't talk trash about the patch because you haven't tested it yet.

작성자: TRDoug 7/17/2015 8:36:12 PMSo now we're supposed to get into melee range when fighting bosses to do any viable damage....... Ice breaker is a SNIPER RIFLE! Im satisfied with most. I just hope that hand cannons don't die after this, exotics and legendary alike. I love that they are buffing auto rifles. I want hardlight and necrochasam to be good ( desperatly, so far im not convinced of hardlights.) But more than anything theres other things that i think need buffs. Universal Remote: Ammo buff for pve. (Same rule for no land beyond, pve only.) Dragons Breath: flare sticks and has Dot to those touched by flare. Vex Mythoclast: Ammo boost for PvE. Thats it, comment share and all that jazz. But in all im ok with the way things are going. Pray they turn out well.
