Destiny 2 should be for PS3/X360 too! Here's why:
Destiny 2 should be for Old Gen too.
Here's why:
1: [b]Bungie will lose many players. Less players equals less money for Bungie. I don't think they would cut such a big money source. [/b]
2: [b]Graphics on old Gen looks amazing too. Haters gonna hate now. The different between PS3/PS4 is too little. I'm sure XBOX One Players will also love the graphics on XBOX 360. Why should we upgrade, when we are happy with the graphics?[/b]
3: [b]Many players like me won't upgrade their consoles. Why? Because of 2.) and because they are happy with their current console. Why should you pay over 300€ for only 1 game? There are still many games on oldGen. A new console would be non-sense. [/b]
4:[b]The new consoles need MUCH more energy. Why paying more for energy just for ONE game? You still can play on the old consoles. [/b]
5:[b]You don't need to have the best things everytime. You also don't buy a new phone just because it's "new" , if your old one is still perfect for you, right? Read 3.) again please.[/b]

I could post much more arguments for supporting oldGen. Finally we can say: OldGen is still good enough for the current gaming industry. Please... Read everything again. Do you see why Destiny 2 should be for oldGen too?

Old gen. For another thing, you can't just "downgrade" graphics. Do you even know anything about games and consoles?

It's more about hardware restrictions than anything else. I understand you don't want to buy a new console, but last gen consoles are being left behind with the new mechanics being applied to each game. If Bungie allowed Destiny 2 to be on the old gen consoles, then they would be passed by their competitors. They would ruin a 10 year project because they would lose the unique capability of expanding an MMO style FPS.

And by the way, after playing Destiny on the 360 from Beta until last month, the graphics are WAY better on the One. Sometimes I honestly feel like I am fighting different enemies than I did on the 360 because the textures and everything are so much better.

Sounds like a kid in denial. I started Destiny on PS3 and switched to PS4. Yes, there is a huge difference in GRAPHICS and GAMEPLAY. You might as well ask Destiny to release it on every system ever using the "more players more money" argument. People were buying new versions of PS3 for almost ten years until PS4 came out. Only more and more PS4s will be sold as more and more PS3s die.

Nuff said. 3) most games coming out are not available for last gen consoles. 4) current gen consoles actually use less energy than last gen if you're not putting it on standby every time with all options turned on. 5) It's not like Bungie has already had to take things out of last gen to put something else in. If they want this game to be what we all want it to be then they need to dump last gen and go all out. 6) it will have been 3 years since current gen was released by the time Destiny 2 comes out. My TV isn't even that old.

Vault space is an issue given the hardware restrictions on former gen. At some point everyone will have to upgrade in order to play the newest games, I for one would love if Destiny 2 was strictly current gen, it opens the doors to new possibilities because the hardware is so much better.

Destiny 2 is not going to be out until a long time, it's not gonna be for old gen, old gen is just holding us back don't even tell me it's not because there are so many thing that bungie could do but can't do because old gen can't process it, and most people from old gen will be on new gen by the time it comes out making it for new old gen to wouldn't be smart

Never go full retard[spoiler]Last Gen isnt going to be supported anymore past 2016. That means no more updates. They cant risk wasting time making the game if there is a chance the systems fail and wont be fixed. [/spoiler]
