Destiny 2 should be for PS3/X360 too! Here's why:
Destiny 2 should be for Old Gen too.
Here's why:
1: [b]Bungie will lose many players. Less players equals less money for Bungie. I don't think they would cut such a big money source. [/b]
2: [b]Graphics on old Gen looks amazing too. Haters gonna hate now. The different between PS3/PS4 is too little. I'm sure XBOX One Players will also love the graphics on XBOX 360. Why should we upgrade, when we are happy with the graphics?[/b]
3: [b]Many players like me won't upgrade their consoles. Why? Because of 2.) and because they are happy with their current console. Why should you pay over 300€ for only 1 game? There are still many games on oldGen. A new console would be non-sense. [/b]
4:[b]The new consoles need MUCH more energy. Why paying more for energy just for ONE game? You still can play on the old consoles. [/b]

Sorry to rustle your jimmies, but I heard that the ttk is the end of the line for last gen. I play on next gen but I have a lot of friends who play on last gen. I kinda wish I was able to keep my last gen console but when my parents got me my next gen, they made me get rid of my last gen. It's rumored that ttk is the end. Sorry

I believe it should be new Gen only. If this is a 10 year plan, then even current Gen could possibly bite the dust before then end. What I'd hope for is a way to transfer your account to a new Gen system. It seems tough, but I'm sure they'll figure something like that out.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they did cut out last gen seeing as some other companys are doing the same( similar to how dragon age isn't getting new dlc on ps3 or Xbox 360) They are holding us back as they had to cut features on last gen to give new gen some more abilities( comparing guns in the vault is no more for last gen) Destiny will lose players by doing it but not for long seeing at how fast new gen is selling. And the higher experience that new gen will have without being held out may outweigh it . It's been a couple of years, you can't expect to hold onto your last gen consoles forever. There always isn't much major releases on last gen anymore.

hanging on to expired tech will only get you so far. you must realize that games will stop being created for the old gen very soon, as the next gen takes its place. if you want next level games you won't get it banking on last gen tech, it happens every time a new console is released. get real with yourself, get over it and still play your old games on your old console, but let new games break new ground on new consoles.

I'm on PS3 because I haven't needed to upgrade but I am going to soon. Make no mistake: the old gen consoles are absolutely holding Destiny back. The vault space issue is directly linked to old gen memory issues and I'm confident map size is to. I haven't shelled out the money because I'm perfectly content on PS3 right now but it's hurting games at this point to cater to last gen, no question.

The hardware and software do actually hold it back. My phone has more ram than my Xbox 360. And there is a reason the newer consoles are bigger... Because they have more of everything. And we're going have to upgrade sooner or later If you want to play new games. The gaming community has been through it before. People like you slow it down and hold us back. I say that 2015 is going to be one of the last years where Xbox 360 and PS3 will be getting new games. Sorry it happens but that's just how life is.

"Graphics on old gen look amazing too" Lmfao. I digitally downloaded Destiny so I have it on 360 and the One. I started playing it on the One and went back to the 360 to play with a buddy who doesn't have a One, and the graphics are absolute dog shit compared to the one. Like it is noticeably worse. The new systems have been out for near 2 years now. A simple savings plan, like $50 a month, will get you one of the new systems in no time. And if you have an issue with buying a system "for just one game", that's your own problem for not widening your scope of gameplay outside of Destiny. And surprise surprise, video game franchises move across system generations! Halo CE and 2, original Xbox. Halo 3, Reach, and 4, Xbox 360. Halo 5, Xbox One. It's this magical thing called technological advancement meets capitalism. Welcome to the real world buddy. Not to mention that they're going to milk the hell out of Destiny 1 with its expansions for years before Destiny 2 ever comes out.

It is simply because your system is unable (somehow) to not have what ever makes the ps4 better lol (not a technically expert, I bought the PS4 because I thought there would be sweet games, turned out to be a glorified Netflix Player lol) [spoiler]I understand by saying that I give up my right to say that people should go and buy a PS4, but I also think we shouldn't be "held back" if that is actually something that's even happening[/spoiler]

I think it'd be great if they came out with two separate versions: old gen and new gen. Old gen could have all the basics, and new gen could have all the bells and whistles: - 20 pages of vault space; - "speed-dial" armor and weapon loadouts; (for Crucible, raids, etc) - much better graphics; - faction wars; - in-game grimoire access; - detailed weapon analysis; (Aim assist, hidden perks, etc) - alternative story lines for different races and character types (Warlocks can hunt Ahamkara, awoken guardians can fight to win the reef's trust...) TL; DR: old gen should get what they paid for; new gen should see new stuff!

This isn't from a graphics point of view it's from a hardware point of view. The older systems can't compete with what's inside the newer ones. Look it up. Why do u think our vault is small, amongst other things.

This will most likely be My only post because everything about your argument is wrong except for half of one point. That point is bungie losing money but I say only half because there is an easy fix all they have yo do is make no more games on old gen and then you people will be bored and upgrade. So now that we have that out of the way I would like to state that I have xbone and Xbox 360 and the only reason I still have the 360 is to play some if the old games I like but with backwards compatibility on the way that thing is most likely gone and I will receive my 75$ or what ever game stop gives me for it. And all of my friends are on the one already. Now let me say when I first got my one I spent a couple days on it than cane back to the 360 to play dark souls and I thought I went blind for a minute because compared to the new consoles the old fen graphics are so ugly it's not funny. Also you deny that your holding us back but in the update to enlarge vault space they said they couldn't make it larger because of old gen and they had to take away a feature from the 360to even put the little space to the vault that was added. And if you still don't think your holding us back you have to realise the suddle differences and you will notice they are trying to squeeze things into the old gens memory And that they have very limited space like the keprhis sting gauntlets,they move on the new gen and don't on old gen. But I guess you'll never know till you upgrade
