Why do people think fate bringer is the best gun in the game?
I always laugh when people say they did the templar 100 times for fate bringer
Fate bringer is a average gun with average stats except for impact
people like to kiss that guns ass because it has explosive rounds when explosive rounds doesn't even work with the outlaw perk
The scholar and the fang have a faster TTK than fatebringer on any enemy and does better against bosses
Also my arc scholar will 1 shot all non major enemies during arc burn and it has outlaw too while fate bringer can only 1 shot smaller enemies like acolytes and thralls
face it this gun is average at best stop kissing its ass because it has explosive rounds and get an arc scholar or fang of ir yut
Edit:1 Dont even mention word of crota that gun is garbage i have a jewl of osirs in void which is bettter in every single way except rate of fire but it doesnt matter because it does so much damage

Edit:3 Another example to show how over rated fate bringer is lets compare the stats too a jewel of osirs and lets pretend my jewel is arc instead of void

Even if your using maxed fate bringer with outlaw and field scout i will still output more damage with an already higher reload and i would be using flared magwell maxing out my reload speed

This proves that almost any legendary hand cannon is just as good as fate bringer where as my jewel of Osiris is better than fate bringer
Fate bringer is a over hyped gun worshiped by the same people who worship youtubers and streamers

1 답변I'll never replace it. Even if we can't ascend things going forward, it will still destroy. Either you've never used it and your mad it hasn't dropped for you or you need practice with it. There's no denying it's the best hc in the game for PVE......

It's not just a regular gun with Firefly, it's an arc explosion that chains into multiple enemies similar to what the Thunderlord can do. Yes when you just compare base stats, my old Devil You Know is better, but that's like talking about the Gjallarhorn without mentioning wolfpack rounds. Arc explosion chaining Firefly FTW!!!

작성자: MRxMOSH 7/17/2015 10:31:45 AMIts not because of Explosive rounds its because of Firefly , explosive rounds make firefly glitch out so its not smart to use it , yes your Jewel is basically the same , same as the Red Hand which i love BTW but firefly its the star perk. Precision kills make the target explode and deal damage and its arc damage so its extremely helpfull in Nightfalls or POE with arc , aside from that , yes , they are all pretty much the same

작성자: Dididak 7/15/2015 6:19:27 PMFatebringer doesn't get it's ass kissed cause of explosive rounds… it's cause of firefly and outlaw. Firefly's damage is based off of impact, and fatebringer has higher impact than any scout rifle, making it extremely effective for clearing out mobs. Having arc damage just adds to the beauty, as now it's even more effective in PvE. The gun isn't praised for it's base stats, but for the perks on it. Even so, your comparison between fatebringer and the JoO, all stats are the same except the Jewel has 10 more in the reload stat, and 4 less in the mag (assuming field scout on fatebringer). The outlaw perk more than makes up for the slower base reload, and the firefly means you won't have to waste as many shots anyways. It's essentially the gjallarhorn of primaries, it's not actually necessary for any of the content, but it's so effective that it makes end game a content even more of a cakewalk.

I feel like you're undervaluing the crowd control aspect of Fatebringer. It can be useful in plenty of other aspects besides killing thralls, which I can guess you are primarily pulling from the abyss encounter. It's useful in PoE, nightfalls, heroics, and generally any content that has arc burn.

I have two fatebringers And I have a scout rifle with Firefly Outlaw Explosive rounds One of the barrel perks that I can't remember And field scout That thing is great And explosive rounds does work with outlaw. You just have to aim a little higher than usual. For the bullet to impact just the head. Or belly. Depending on what you fight

If you are having slow reloads on your fatebringer then you must be a really bad shot or a vet aiming for the center of mass (and I really doubt that you are). Also, it's arc. The only other HC that has arc is the occasional jewel and the perks on that are: -Icarus (PD did a review on it, it does nothing for HCs) so hurray -and third eye which grants neither, fast reloads, crowd control potential or extra range. Finally, the jewel has 9 in the mag. 9. It might as well be a Devil You Don't you're comparing it to. Edit: Also, I invite OP to let us view his Stats, Grimoire and his characters to see if he's a Destiny Day-Oner or a squeaky HoW casual (nothing wrong with being a casual as long as you don't say bullshit).
