9 답변작성자: Psi Optics 7/28/2015 3:46:54 PMReach was one of my least favorite games. Sorry TL; DR this is indepth so don't bother. pros and cons The Good - Top notch Forge Mode - Beautiful graphics - Needle Rifle was a great concept - Focus Rifle brought a balanced Sentinel Beam into MM. - Fresh new characters. - Assassinations! - Hologram was hilarious and the only armor ability I liked. - I liked that armor lock could shred a charging vehicle. (I hated everything else about it but we will get into that.) The Bad - Halo 3 you had to lead your shots and now it went back to instant hit-scan - No ranking system - Invisibility power-up is just like the armor ability version sadly you couldn't customize it to be like the previous Halo versions. - Brought back health packs. Slows the game down IMO and forces players to make certain adjustments. It also much harder to "batman" people at heights. Removes the smooth flow that Halo 2 & 3 had. The Ugly - Bloom especially the DMR. It functioned in complete opposite in what Bungie intended rewarding a player more for spamming it than timing the shots. This added unnecessary randomness to gun battles.
Gameplay aside it still makes no sense. It was introduced in Halo to simulate recoil. You are a super soldier in a power suit...their should be no recoil for a marksman weapon
- Armor Lock negates multi-kills. Can reward n00bs who don't take cover. Nullifies sticky grenades. Overall slows the game down. - Sprint also slowed the game down. First of all you couldn't really turn. You could take little damage run like a bat out of hell. Not ideal with energy shields. Also sprinting and double melee was a viable strategy. - Invisibility was meant to nerf your senses while giving you a visual stealth. However it was a pain in the ass across the map where people went crouch stealth with the sniper. - Jet Pack maybe not the worst but it did change jumping and flanking positions which were a staple in the other 3 games. This could be argued that "you should adapt" but I don't think it made the game better. - Increased Auto-aim and bullet magnetism. At least it seemed like the hit boxes were bigger.

35 답변I have played every halo game to be released, and I have to say that despite Halo 4's "not very halo" feel to it, I have to say that it was amazing storywise, and the pvp was still enjoyable for me! Adding in Spartan Ops was a great spiritual successor to Firefight, and the graphics and soundtrack were unbelievable! I can't wait to see what they do with Halo 5. The "problems" with the other halos that made them not take the top spot. Halo 1: okay, though I've played every halo, I'll admit that I was tardy to the party and didn't play 1 until after I had played through 2. That said, the story was slightly above average, it had the "go here, kill this" that was prevalent in shooters of the time, however they went a step further and actually (albeit kind of poorly) explained WHY you had to go there and kill that. The graphics were great at the time and the soundtrack has thrown many a gamer into emotional fits. The multiplayer isn't as memorable for me. I vaguely remember a few matches, including one where I blasted a banshee to death with a shotgun, but aside from that, it didn't give me that much enjoyment. Story: 7/10 Sights and sounds: 8/10 Multiplayer: 4/10 Overall score: 6.33/10 Halo 2: This was my first actual Halo, and I got into the fray at the end of this game's life cycle. I played it, and then later halo 1, on the pc after my brother bought them both. I loved 2, but the story (save for the very beginning and ending) made me feel like I was just slogging through a mediocre game about a badass space soldier. It was more of a chore to beat Halo 2 than an experience at some points. The graphics were MUCH improved, and the soundtrack had some badass parts to it (that metal theme is still probably my favorite of the original trilogy). That said, the graphics were still overshadowed by games like Final Fantasy and Star Ocean, and it won't be for quite some time that this changes. The multiplayer has some of the most memorable maps and experiences, but to me, the remakes in subsequent games were just better. Story: 5/10 Sights and Sounds: 9/10 Multiplayer: 6/10 (would be much lower without the insanely popular maps) Overall score: 6.67/10 Halo 3: Halo 3 was the first halo game that I poured my entire freaking soul into! I think I've logged more hours into 3 than any other game (bar perhaps destiny, but even then I think I've played more Halo 3.) The multiplayer was SPOT ON. I loved every minute that I played it. It also gave birth to forge mode, which was the most god tier thing that has ever been added to Halo, and I have been missing the old school forging in subsequent versions of the game. However, the what Bungie did to the story was almost unforgivable! They made the story so easy that even a toddler could complete the campaign on Legendary! There was no great sense of accomplishment, just pushing onto the next checkpoint. The story was also a little more lackluster, though it took me until I replayed it on the MCC to realize it. Every main shock factor moment could be seen from miles away, so much so that the story would have been infinitely more enjoyable had chief SAVED anyone, or hell, even SOMEONE. Oh, wait, I was supposed to talk about the sights and sounds too, right? Well... The sights were certainly beautiful, but woof were the sounds nothing special. Recycled music and gun fire, with a very few added bells and whistles.... Story: 3/10 Sights and Sounds: 7/10 (though the stuff was recycled, it was still badass and the improved graphics boost the score a little more) Multiplayer 10/10 (by far the best multiplayer experience in a halo game yet) Overall: 6.67/10 Halo 3: ODST: Ahh ODST, I'd love you so much more if you hadn't been released right after Halo 3. The story was amazing! So much so, that I was almost saddened that Halo 3 didn't have this included from the get go! The inclusion of the Engineers was also an epic nod to those who had found them prior in Halo 2. They also served to be an annoyance in the next game as well, but it was way cool to see the space snails in game for the first time (without modding, of course). Other than that, there were a lot of questionable choices. What purpose did the silenced smg serve, for instance? Or, why did we have that rather cruddy - looking HUD? Neither of these changes have been seen since, so they must not have been THAT great. The graphics were a little more shiny than Halo 3 and it had the most forgettable soundtrack yet. As for the multiplayer, there was not really a lot added. It was the same multiplayer as halo 3, but with ALL THE maps (yay? I mean, I already had them....). It did serve to add Firefight though, which was great! The first five times you played it, that is.... Story: 8/10 Sights and sounds: 5/10 Multiplayer: 4/10 (as much as I loved halo 3's multiplayer, I was ready for something else at this point, and firefight didn't help.) Overall: 5.67/10 Halo: Reach: I'm curious as to why this was even necessary. I mean, sure, fans were asking for a game talking about what happened on Reach, but I'm sure they weren't wanting an ENTIRELY different take on the events. A game that only exists because of the fan's love of a novel, yet the game doesn't follow the novel all that closely at all. At this point in time, graphics had become MUCH better, and Halo: Reach proved that both in campaign, and multiplayer, however they still could have reached a bit further. The sounds for Reach were also to the point of mastery! I've never been more excited about how a game SOUNDED than I was for Reach. Halo 3 took up most of my life while it was relevant, yet Reach took up NEARLY the same amount of time for me. Unfortunately this was the time of my life where I had to start GETTING a life, so I didn't play it as much as I wanted, but I still played quite a bit. I loved the old Jetpack, but that was literally the only armor perk that I cared about. I also hated the load out system, it was almost a grab for the CoD fans in my opinion. The multiplayer was fun, and I played it often, but there were many flaws to it which I couldn't overlook no matter how much I tried. (Screw you armor lock!!!!) Story: 3/10 (the deaths were the only good part.) Sights and Sounds: 8/10 Multiplayer: 6/10 (fun, but bullshit additions). Halo 4: Now I'll explain why I love this game the most. First off, the story... Holy hell the story was good! AND DIFFICULT AGAIN!!! I was crying tears of both joy and rage when I played through the campaign. I was so happy to be back with Chief after his 2 game absence. The addition to the promethians were also much more welcome than the now extinct flood. I didn't like the flood, and halo 3 made me dislike them even more, so I was happy to see new enemies, especially ones that were much more intelligent. The graphics were near the top of their time! The teleportation effects of the promethians was very pleasing, and terrifying at first. The environments were breathtaking, and the soundtrack was just beautiful! Everything about this game graphics and sound-wise was just perfect. The multiplayer was the weakest point, but it's like saying that a statue of pure gold is less impressive because of a little scuff. Though they hadn't removed the loadouts, they added in enough BALANCED armor abilities to be enjoyable. I loved this multiplayer and still play it every once in a while. Story: 9/10 Sights and sounds: 10/10 Multiplayer: 7/10 Overall: 8.67/10
by the way, thanks for reading and I hope OP realized he missed Halo:Wars.
Halo 2 was the best Halo hands down for PVP. it had the best and most balanced feel to it. It wasn't just another whored rip-off of all the modern Call of Duty games, like almost every FPS that comes out these days. Was very basic, crouch, jump, aim, shoot. And with the innovation of super bouncing, the game was exciting and spectacular. But, I hate playing as the arbiter, so that was the worst.

All of them up to 4 seemed really good for the time. I've been playing the MCC and it's been great seeing what used to be the best games ever. The Reskin on 2 looked great. Overall I enjoyed reach the most due to the use of a player custom player character, more versatility and variance in how you wanted to play, and assassinations. ODST doesn't seem that popular but I think it made a good change of pace. I also like the ODST armor. 2 felt more real to the lore and 3 made it feel very polished. 4 was kind of a let down from reach. It had some interesting feature but felt unpolished. I'm looking forward to the story in 5 though and some of the new modes.

작성자: KannibalKlown 7/28/2015 6:55:19 PMReach That game was fun. And the story was alright. And it was the first time in years a fake got me to play multiplayer for more than a few days. My favorite of the franchise. With halo 4 a close second

How can you forget about halo 2? It shits on all of the other halos by a long shot, pull up the statistics on it, it was the game that made console gaming huge. There were no other good online games at that time. If they added a ranking system like halo 2 into a pvp playlist for destiny, I might pass out from excitement and never wake up.

1 답변작성자: John6Max4 7/28/2015 6:12:21 PMWhaaaaaa? Halo Reach? Nah man I HATED that game. The campaign was great but the way they picked multiplayer maps from the campaign areas really killed it for me. Not to mention the not-too-good credits system. Another huge thing is the sprint. Sprint wasn't incorporated right in Halo 4 or Reach since the maps failed to take sprint in mind. You'd either go across the map in a single sprint jump in Halo 4 or be frustrated you can't sprint while choosing other armor abilities on the huge maps. Hopefully Halo 5 fixes that.

I dunno about you but I LOVED Reach, except for armor lock and active camo. The problem is Reach has GOOD grenades that you spawn with, and armor lock negates all that advantage. Active camo makes snipers untouchable; it's not as bad but still pretty OP. Also, Halo 3 had butt controls, ruining it for me. I similarly hated SSBM controls. Bad controls also prevented me from enjoying Muramasa The Demon Blade.
