Dissapointed in Bungie Day (Poll)
Ive been stuck at work all day checking the forums here and there expecting to read about the festivities of Bungie Day. Am I missing something or are the Triumph challenges the only thing? I was excited when I heard of the triumphs but turns out I already completed them all. So what do I get to look forward to when I get home and hop on Destiny...? Not the reward of an emblem because unless I buy TTK I wont receive that until Sept., why do I constantly feel that Bungie is ignoring/punishing their loyal players?
Edit: I can talk for hours about how it seems as if Destiny's plan is to keep the players playing for as long as possible.(if you don't know what I mean by this please don't take it literal) But does anyone else agree this Bungie Day was not a reward but just another way for Bungie to have players grinding/occupied until the next load of content?

8 답변Hello. Never bought a bungie game before. Never heard of bungie day until it was made a big deal of a couple of weeks ago. Was perplexed and intrigued by level of excitement drifting around. Experienced bungie day. Am now still unsure as to what the fuss was all about. Strange.

Here's some examples: Thorn vs. No thorn Nerf vs. No nerf Xur'd vs Earned Maxed grimiore 34s vs. Casual 34s What does it take for a game that requires someone to outright defend their life over them liking Destiny? And why do these players write books on their opinions only to be attacked by the opposing side. It's like this whether you like Destiny or not. A fact that everyone can agree on is that Destiny is the game of failed promises. I can already hear the typing now of how "the game was in Pre-Alpha things change". These failed promises left the community hurt leaving many scrounging to find enjoyment. While many did find the fun, many did not. Here in the forums, we see this. We are all gamers. Whether you played Destiny once, never done a raid, made it to the lighthouse, or soloed Croats End we do not change. Now I'm not advising you to support this game, I see its flaws, and I'm not telling you to hate it. What I'm telling you is to stop fighting, we all deserve to state our opinions without critism. Let's remove the toxicity the Destiny Community has become.

1 답변We're going to celebrate the community! By giving away an emblem! An emblem. That you can only get if you complete all these mind numbing activities that you don't want to complete because they're either pointless (golden chest), there's no matchmaking (raids, PoE) or you're not good at it (PvP vs PvE) but we want you to because you gotta play the game the way we set it up. Oh and you can only get the emblem a few months from now. If this is a reward than that time I gutted a friend of mine after we both got drunk must have been the greatest gift he ever got.

It's also in all the weekly updates...[i]the next one[/i] will always be the one that actually has pertinent info or addresses community complaints. Today was more of the same.

9 답변Bungie doesn't exist anymore man. Activision hollowed them out and is masquerading as bungie to get people to buy a product. Bungie day sucked today. Some agree, but some will say you're an idiot for expecting something for putting in time in this grindfest of a game. Expect for it to get worse. I fully anticipate micro transactions to be the life's blood for destiny 2.

6 답변Remember what you got when you pre-ordered the game ? A .. "unique emblem... sparrow... ship..." Year one players get a... wtf seriously ? To get your reward you have to continue grinding the same things you've been grinding all year. If you guys don't see that as a slap in the face I don't know what it'll take. Guildwars 2 sends out free birthday gifts to every character once they get a year old. You get a buncha consumables, a mini pet thing which some people collect, exp boosters etc. This game punishes you in order to get your reward. Nice, thx alot but I won't be grinding one f---king bit.

If Bungie day this year hadn't fallen on [i]reset[/i] day, I probably wouldn't have played at all. I just did the Nightfalls and daily Crucible matches and bailed. No sense in wasting time when I didn't have too. :/

작성자: eleven11911 7/8/2015 1:52:55 PMI bet a lot of people were expecting some amazing quest that took around 3 hrs to complete or so and even though Bungie never said this was coming when it didn't happen those people felt cheated, they had lied to themselves but they need someone to blame so they come to the forums and make pathetic posts.

Bungie [i]may[/i] have given us stuff on those days to show that they appreciate us, but 7/7 is about celebrating the 7th Column as a community. Today about 16 of us played Halo 3 custom games and had a great time, and many more events and lobbies are and have been running throughout the day in various Bungie made games, including Marathon Infinity, to celebrate ourselves, and the fact that we all congregate in games to shoot each other in the face and have fun.

4 답변작성자: Achro 7/8/2015 2:20:09 AMLet's see....WE (the Players) on "our" day got an emblem that we have to earn, pay and wait for ($35 DLC (TDB & HoW) if it comes with the free part of TTK, $75 if it doesn't....meanwhile Bungie gets gjallrhorn cakes and our money....explain to me how this was "our" day again? Sounds more like dev day to me.
