Oh hey look, a positive (suicide isn't, but you get what I'm saying) thread for once. Good for you, friend.
And like they said: I'm here. I went through that period in my life, and I still deal with depression today. You can always talk to me if you need someone to lean on.
It's a little ridiculous, but the fact that I was going to meet my favorite actor basically kept me alive.
Besides that, I just managed to talk to my therapist, get some medicine, and try my hardest to stay positive. That was the worst — I tend to find the negative in every situation, so finding the positive was hard.
I had support as well — my family (for the most part) and my friends, who were there for me the entire time.
If you've got depression, my advice to you would be: don't let it get in the way of what you want to do. [i]You[/i] have control over your body, not depression. Go hang out with friends, go travel, do [i]something[/i] instead of sit alone and worry and cry.
