I am Forest Oak, and I am making a new game with some buddies. The game is a loot based RPG, but with a new leveling system.
Here is what I have so far:

[b]*Charge Rifles[/b] Imagine the KSG with a short charge time.
[b]*Arc Rifles[/b] Think Wunderwaffe with slower travel time.
[b]*Focus Beams[/b] Think Sentinel Beams on Crack.
[b]Long Rifles[/b] Standard Sniper Rifles.
[b]Shotguns[/b] Standard Pellet Spread Weapons.
[b]Nail Rifles[/b] Scout Weapons.
[b]Handhelds[/b] This includes both Revolvers and P99-esk weapons.
[b]Flammables[/b] Flamethrowers and Molotov launchers.
[b]Machine Rifles[/b] Giant Chainguns.
[b]Shoulder Cannons[/b] Standard Rocket Launchers.
[b]Short Swords[/b] This includes rusty knives and high-end HotBlades.

I am coming up short in new ideas for weapons, and would encourage you to voice your ideas down below.

Edit: I have currently Concepted and Constructed over 150 of these weapons.
Any suggestions help.

Edit 3: Hello flood, the 0.02% that will read this. I have enough weapons to carry forward into development.
It's not that I am being overwhelmed, or I am just lazy, but I have 200+ unique concepts to implement. That's not including standard weaponry.

Variant two: Dual Pistols to Shotgun Variant three: Dual Pistols to Sniper. (Think Arkham Knights guns) Also, [b]Blade Bow[/b] A bow and arrow with knives attached to it, allowing it to be used as a melee weapon. Got this idea from Metro 2033. Guns that use air to fire a projectile. Need air to be pumped into them in order to work. You can pump as much as you want, and the more air you put into the gun, the more range and the more damage the gun does. Downside is you need to actually spend the time pumping, but in the end, it can pay off.

I was jacking around with a camera tripod and thought, 'This be a cool gun type.' There are multiple barrels (3 or so) and upon zooming out those barrels spread apart to shoot multiple enemies at once. All depends on the theme and time of your game.

Blizzard Class experimental weaponry. Wrist mounted telekinetic esc weaponry. To use it, you would throw your spikes up, and after a small lock on time (about 4-5 seconds) , the spikes will shoot at the targets. If killed with spikes to spare, they will wait until you lock onto the next target (with a longer lock on however, dependant on the number of spare spikes deployed) , and will head to the locked enemy.
