People, let's be logical.
Let's assume for at least the next paragraph you are able to use good, logistical thought processes.
What I am about to say may take you by COMPLETE surprise.(sarcasm)
If you paid $60 for destiny and bought $20 DLC and you think $40 more is too much consider this.
An average movie ticket price in 2014 was $8.17
An average movie length in 2014 was 120 minutes (2 hours)
You would have payed about $4.08 per hour of entertainment.
On the other hand:
$60 for base game of destiny
$20 for DLC
The average time played per player is a bit beyond 80hrs per player
Even using a base figure of 80 hours with $80 in
You would have paid only $1 per hour of entertainment.
You'll spend more one night out on dinner and a movie than you would for all the time you've played in this game.
You've gotten your money's worth.
You aren't losing out.
Edit 1: lots of complainers here have a lot of hours played. If you don't like destiny then quit. And if you think it's a rip off don't buy it. Otherwise you have no argument.
Edit 2: still no explanation why you would have even 100 hours or more into a game you think isn't good.
The people who weren't satisfied already quit, they aren't here making excuses.

작성자: BurntRubber5 7/6/2015 12:12:27 AMGood point, if the community is upset and wants Activision to change they need to make a statement and NOT BUT THE DARN EXPANSION. As for me, I am buying TTK, I am playing it, I will enjoy it immensly, and I be playing with others who want to be there and who don't complain about the grind. Ever play and RPG.... freaking grind, but when it's done...it's done. There is no enjoyment left. Edit: I bought it a few days after the pre order was available. $40 is cheap for any version of entertainment. Hell, you can't even play mini golf for $40 anymore.

10 답변You can't compare. The only reason it's played over and over is for rewards and playing with friends, not created content by destiny

6 답변"Getting your money's worth" is a relative term--you can't quantify what I believe is "worth it." One person believes spending $250,000 on a new car is "worth it," while another believes $25,000 for a car is expensive. Frankly, these "look how much time you played compared to dollars spent" posts are downright stupid and out of touch.

1 답변Bump. Well said man. You really have to think about how many hours you get out of the DLC and factor that in.

4 답변To completely break your analogy, I can buy a 20 dollar blu Ray and get unlimited entertainment, both examples you watch the same shit over and over

2 답변Numbers don't lie. Have posted something like this last 2 xpacs to a sea of whinny responses.

40 dollars should be how much content we receive not how many hours you receive. Judging by the first two dlc's it will not be worth the content. All the hours played are repeating the same shit over and over, that doesn't equal value. You could stare at a screen saver for the same amount of time and that doesn't make it worth while or give it more value.

2 답변I've probably spent more than 600 hours on Destiny+CE+HoW, yeah I'll admit I got my money's worth even though I bought the 2 expansions separate. But the problem I have is that we in UK are getting ripped off, I'll rather spend £40 on phantom pain than this at the moment
