Really, the question says it all. Do you respect those who have braved the Trials and have gone flawless, visiting Mercury?
I mean, I most certainly do, as I myself know how difficult it can be, and I want to know what the community thinks.
Edit: We've hit 30 replies! Keep up the constructive arguments my bros!
Edit 2: I know I'm super late on this, but damn, 430 comments! Keep it coming, Guardians!

1 답변Respect? No. It's a game. That's the same as asking if I respect the guy next door because he's great at Battleship.

Do I respect people for being good at a video game?! Haha... is this a serious question? I respect people who stand up for their ideals while not trampling on others. I respect people who sacrifice and die to protect others. I respect people for trying to make themselves and the world a better place. There are lots of things I respect people for; just playing video games isn't one of them.
No disrespect to video games. Frankly I love them, and they are one of my favorite past times. Unless you are applying your skill at video games into real life (such as making it a job by legitimately playing pro, being a successful tuber/streamer, or are a creator of games yourself, there is no reason for respect. Even if you don't like or disagree with those that play pro at games or are tuber/streamers, at least they contributing to the economy and are not leeching off of it. That might not immediately merit respect, but could if their contribution becomes big enough. But playing a game as a hobby and getting respect for it? Seriously... come'on.
The majority of ppl on my friends list get carried through trials. Something I refuse to take part in I should add. Not to mention you have a good amount of ppl cheating in trials. Instead of respecting them like I should, I just wonder what malicious things they possibly did to go flawless.

If I see the flawless emblem it doesn't earn them my respect, my team have gone most weekends so anyone that beats us as a team gets my respect even if they don't end up going .. Made it twice this weekend so far using a pulse rifle (bad juju red death or messenger ) and a non final round sniper, now happy my team doesn't need thorn

No. For all you know they could have been carried through by 2 really good players. However I do respect people if they have a high grimoire. Mine is 3565 and I'm on Xbox and still haven't gone flawless. Grimoire takes hundreds and thousands of hours of commitment.

8 답변Definitely. I've faced some of you in the Crucible and you've well deserved it. There are some great players and some even better teams.

작성자: Phobia 7/4/2015 11:56:27 PMUnfortunately I can't respect it. Mainly because of how many times if been booted offline during games where my team is winning 4-0. Second thorn users, crutch weapon that doesn't really take any skill to use. I've gone flawless, and it is difficult especially since two members of my team hardly ever play crucible, me being on of them.
