Weapon Rebalance Patch Coming
Announced today in the update.
Post how much you think [b]Thorn[/b] will be nerfed and what else will happen.

I do think the thorn will be nerfed but not to much the last word might get a tweak but I'm going to say auto rifles arnt going to get that big of a buff if any they have to be careful with that and shotguns might get looked at

2 답변It wont be nerfed by itself it will be a class nerf with another class being buffed and then everyone will cry about that class and weapon being OP all the time.

4 답변Thorn will end up sucking just like Suros. Bungie doesn't know how to "balance" obviously, because PvP in this game has never felt that way and never will. Next up for guns to complain about. The Last Word and High Impact Pulse Rifles.

4 답변After playing three days of Iron Banner AKA " The Banner of Thorns" I feel that the RANGE and RATE OF FIRE needs to be reduced. I can't even tell you how many times I have literally been sniped across the map by Thorn. Oh, also The Last Word kills you in 10 -blam!-ING FRAMES of animation. In a one on one gunfight you will loose to TLW 8 times out of 10. They need to tone that down as well.

5 답변I hear lots of cries out for a return of auto rifles but I don't see a shortage of them in pvp. I figure a lot of it is the pve guys wanting them to be useful again in the game. They are not the most used weapon in pvp for sure but I bet they way outnumber scout rifles and I think some stats posted not long ago showed they outnumber pulse rifles also. If that is true and it likely is I doubt if they add power there as to do so would open the flood gates on them in crucible.

[b]-Thorn needs a major nerf; I'm thinking of reducing damage to Guardian enemies (that way it's just in PvP),making it 3-shot headshot instead of 2-shot. -Undo the auto-rifle and fusion rifle nerfs introduced in Patch 1.1.1.[/b] That's all that needs to be done, really. I don't think The Last Word will need a nerf once they buff auto-rifle; before 1.1.1, the auto-rifle was the ideal counter for that weapon, Legendary or Exotic. Bringing back Fusion Rifles may also reduce the number of shotgunners; nowadays people use the Matador, Party Crasher, and Felwinter where they once used Pocket Infinity and Plan C.

I believe that bungie are gonna nerf all hand cannons, there fore ending the reign of thorn/ last word/ hawkmoon, and beginning the reign of the multi tool, 3 months after that they will nerf that, ending it's dictatorship and ushering in the reign of red death, however in 3 months they will nerf that and we will all be back to square one/ September again...

1 답변I *hope* they nerf the hell out of Thorn and TLW just to witness the crying. Besides that, increasing ttk would be nice. But I don't expect too much. I assume the people doing it are the same that put out 1.1.1. Anyone that takes impact out of a range of weapons that we knew were already struggling against hand cannons doesn't know what the hell they are doing and there's no reason to think they'll know any better now. Probably what will happen is exactly what peeps that want to leave it as is are saying - they'll nerf something only to make something else op.

3 답변Wouldn't be surprised if they just nerf all handcannons like they did auto rifles , and will leave pulse and scout rifles alone hahha swear they just gonna unbalance pvp even more
