Garbage update, no mention of why they are continuing to overcharge us players in the UK for DLC. US players pay $40, UK players pay £40 - which is equivalent to $62.99. Then they expect us to gladly pay another £20 ($31.50) for these poxy emotes etc. There's no way I'm throwing $94+ at the screen for that.

He deserves credit for that at least. I do however feel that everything he said in the interview is exactly Bungie's view of the playerbase -- that we're nothing more than sheep who will spend money on anything they want to charge us for. They honestly don't give a shit about any of us as long as we keep forking over cash for their outrageously priced content. The funny thing is the people who are going to throw $20 at the screen for this garbage are the ones helping to ruin the gaming industry, and they don't even see it. The Bungie sycophants are beyond pathetic. I'm an adult with a great job, no kids and plenty of disposable income. I have more than enough money. This is about principle and Bungievision's absolute corporate greed, and I refuse to give them anymore money. They'll be lucky if I even buy TTK or anything from Bungie ever again at this point. If people don't stand up to this shit and let them know that this is not OK, they'll just continue charging more and more. Before you know it, they'll be charging monthly subscription fees and the game will be full of microtransactions. Can't get that Gjallarhorn to drop for you? How about paying us $20 for it? It's pretty obvious that's where this is headed.

1 답변The fact that they apparently decided to just pull the same "roll out" as they did with HoW was truly in poor taste. Clearly the community wants them to explain why it would be worth it to rebuy old content....They just wont do it apparently, unless they have now decided to give us more non money grubbing options and had to alter the update while they figure it out.

2 답변Typical response to a PR blunder. Charging too much for cosmetic items. My TTK decision will be based more on alot of the other game issues yet to be fixed or addressed properly. Doubt I will pre-order but wait to see what actually comes in TTK. Kinda suspicious about the re-skinned PS exclusive strikes being counted as actual new content. Suspicious of the fact they are putting out worse and worse weapons. They have more than hinted they want us to be rid of the old stand bys, which is fine. But they have yet to offer any real suitable replacements. Will the Raid be a fun Raid like VoG? Or a slapped together extended strike like CE? Will ARs ever work properly again? Things like this will determine if I continue Destiny or find a new franchise...

15 답변What pisses me off is this. People are going right back to being drones. "Oh my god, a black shader, I love you Bungie!" "Yeah, I'm gonna buy TTK and the $20 emotes." If anything, Luke is right about the idiots in this community, you show them something nice and people flock towards and "throw money at it." These people are abundant in this thread and are pathetic. Bungie Weekly was a distraction. The real issue was the price of TTK, which is ridiculous because its not even as big as vanilla Destiny, it should be $20 alone.

2 답변If you purchase a stand-alone version of Destiny: The Taken King, or already have, you'll be able to pick up the digital items as soon as they are available.
