Bungie trolled us for PR. It worked
So, think about it. What company in its right mind would think it was ok to give a big f you to its loyal fanbase? What company would risk looking like amateurs by the laughable delivery of new content that existing players need to buy again?
Not bungie.
Maybe this whole having to buy the game again to get the new stuff was a ruse. So now the gaming world is talking about it, news stations are talking about it. Free PR, and then BAM, Bungie announce that the vets are getting some awesome stuff, so they seem like the perfect brand. Bungie is now the good guy, and all the vets are now convinced they'll be purchasing The Taken King. If so Bungie, and you knew you could spin bad publicity into good, then I tip my hat to you.

So piss off your customers instead of convincing them to buy your product. So if they give something to the "vets" it won't be damage control it will be part of a plan. -____- You know if they gave "vets" something special in the first place it would have been a better reaction than what's currently taking place. Some people (including myself) have just been turned off completely.

They say any press is is good press and this is just a way to rip us off by having us think they gave us a big fūck you and then it will see like we are getting a deal which actually isn't a deal when they "fix" the situation.

They don't care if you are a loyal customer all they care about is making money so they can stay in business. Also Santa isn't real. Sorry.

Not to me, It's sad, I've never seen a company make such a great game, and then ruin it with so much money hungry bollocks. Buy some redbull to get an exclusive mission? That's the sort of thing someone would make up as a satire of the games industry.

1 답변Adults are just not that smart. Even smart people are just too damn busy sometimes and do something stupid. Even a company with 100 employees has dissenters and it's impossible to fully control the message. A developer develops. Put him in front of a reporter and garbage like this might just come out.
