I'm gonna be controversial here. Has he shown Bungie and Activision's true colors? Yes. Was he a GIANT prick thoughout the entire interview? Yes. Does he deserve death threats and the like? -blam!- no. At the end of the day, he is a man. A arrogant, conceited man maybe, but he has feelings and whatnot. Think how you'd feel if you got a threat from a so called fan about how he's gonna -blam!- you up.
SHould we hate what Bungie and Activison has become? Yes. Should we hate his comments and the fact they think of us as money bags? Yes. Should he be scared for his life? NO.
To clarify: I'm mad as hell about all that was said and how Bungie treats us. That's no excuse to do things like threaten a man's life.

1 답변작성자: Einstein1507 6/23/2015 9:01:56 PMHe was the guy who mentioned wearing Oryx's a*s as a hat in the ViDoc, and the tone of a person is difficult to convey in writing. Don't get me wrong, I disagree with him and he came off as a total a*shat, but maybe he didn't mean to be? Just a thought.

5 답변The thing people are over looking is that he said veterans are going to get stuff also. He even went so far as to say better stuff. Everyone is crying because they might have to dance the same with there character as they have been, and his point was if u want those extra dance moves or whatever yea buy the collectors edition. Otherwise your going to have to wait to see. I think he handled himself well for being nagged over and over about the same dam thing that he can't talk about nor has control over. He is a raid designer.

He's always been out of touch with people. I didn't know exactly who he was until putting the name to the face. In all the vidocs, he's been the corny fat bearded guy who says very unfunny things at inappropriate times. "Wear his ass like a hat" Anyone who says that should not be taken remotely seriously. He's a lame.

9 답변The interviewer was also a huge dick who couldn't understand that Luke Smith isn't allowed to talk about everything that's going on. He just kept pushing the same point over and over even though Smith gave him the only answer he could. If you really want the collector's items, buy it from losers on ebay or buy the collector's edition. I'm not saying what's going on with the editions is right; I'm just saying that what's done is done. Bungie signed on with Activision and Activision made a money based decision. Deal with it. That's life.

1 답변I think people were already upset about the pricing structure, forcing them to re-buy the ENTIRE game to get a few small (but wanted) digital extras, such as emotes, shaders, etc. Furthermore, even though they were upset, I think people expected Bungie to realize their mistake and add some of that into the $40 TTK download to "do the right thing". So, when the interview came out, it was not only the "fix" that people expected but in fact sounded like the opposite: That Bungie was comfortable in making people pay whatever they could. It was just the spark that set off the powderkeg. All that said, however, I'm sure the interview was at least to some degree taken out of context. Sometimes it's difficult to say things in the right way if you're not a trained PR guy. It's certainly not something to threaten anyone over. In the end, if it's truly about Greed and ignoring the player base, then the worse thing that should happen is that people don't buy the game and over time Destiny fades into the sunset. Which would be unfortunate.
