I lol every time someone tries to tell me that. The link above shows just a few of the many horrible acts committed in the name of Christianity, including:
- The Crusades
- The Witch hunts
- Slavery
- The KKK
- The torture of non-believers
If you want to be a christian, that's fine, but don't pretend that your religion is all "peace and love".
Purse, out.

I could understand your vitriol towards Christianity, if you had actually been violated by it, but you're supposed to be an Atheist, but the only faith you ever concern yourself with is Christianity... Do you know how Muslim dominate nations treat Atheists in the 21st century? So either attack ALL religions equally or shut the -blam!- up!

The Ancient Egyptians had slavery. So did the non-Christian Africans who sold blacks into slavery. > The Crusades were a series of military campaigns to counter Islamic aggression and oppression. The Christians were the wronged party here. > Feminists gladly take part in Witch Hunts and most of them claim to be Atheists. The whole 'witch hunt' thing is a result of flawed justice and misinformation. > Torture, even that of a non-believer of any specific religion, has been around a lot longer than Christianity. Torture, like war, is a timeless thing. I hope ur b8ing m8.
31 replies! Religion sure is a hot topic! Where's Purse at tho? It's been a couple of days. Did he neck himself or something? Don't tell me that this great 'intellectual' has such thin skin. I guess he couldn't handle the banter.
1 답변In the Witch hunts everyone was hunted even other Christians mainly other Christians Every country/people group in the world adopted slavery even Hindus "the most tolerant religion" in the world The kkk is joke what they believe isn't what God intended I don't think in any point in time a Christian has tortured a non believer for any religious purposes in the past besides the kkk (who are insufferable I might add once again) Your only justifiable point is the crusades which is back when the church had power but the church was never meant to be in power or a leader it was meant to be a servant Christians who claim the church to be in authority are wrong. I'm a Christian and I understand this not many Christians don't it upsets me. But upon your argument no religion is peaceful there are always zealot factions that radicalize everything

All the things you listed out are of people who "thought" they are doing gods will but aren't. You wouldn't understand because you aren't a Christian. You need to actually study this, and when I say study I mean do things like go to church

Can't this be said for everything?
not defending anyone
But doesn't it make picking one religion (Muslim Christian etc) irrelevant because everyone is basically a hypocrite in what they do/say...?
like not even just religion
