Weapons!!!!! Bungie clearly don't know how real life weapons work
How on earth does a pistol or 'hand cannon' deliver more damage and range than semi automatic scout rifle!
The barrel length determines accuracy and range depending on the caliber of round you fire! A pistol or 'hand cannon' is accurate to about 25 meters! Rifles, with correct barrel rifling and weighted rounds can hit a target a mile away (1600 meters)
Sort your weapons out bungie!!!!!
A pistol should not be out performing a rifle, a pistol is a quick go-to secondary weapon, not a primary killing machine

Yeah well it also doesn't take a whole mag to take out someone with a fully automatic assult rifle in real life. Also I can't seem to master the art of my Titan smash I jump up and hit the ground with my fist and nothing happens. Hum.

It's a game not real life! It's also set in the future where weapons are likely to be more enhanced. If your going on about weapons why not bring up everything else that's not like real life! Really sort yourself out.

5 답변Range... I see your point. Unless you have an 8 inch barrel, and a hell of a scope, and are taking your sweet time, you aren't exactly delivering extremely long range shots with a revolver. Especially at a high rate of fire. The impact however is very debatable. Let's look at real ammo. Good revolvers are typically going to be found either in .38 or .357 mag. You could also make the argument for .45 long colt or .44 mag. My point, revolvers usually run pretty good loads as far as ammo types. A scout rifle, in my opinion would be real life comparable to guns like an AR-15. I know many would say that's the assault rifle. But this again is my opnion. A 357 round (using this as the most typical revolver you are likely to see revolver enthusiasts use) is going to pack a hell of a lot more punch than and .223 round out of an AR-15. In conclusion, it's completely reasonable that a HC would out shoot a scout in terms of power. Also, it's a game... it's not trying to be real life. Space magic and invisibility should have been your first clue.
