Auto Rifle Nerf Destroyed Crucible
Playing crucible now is simply tedious.
All it is is endless Thorns and Shotguns.
Its now rare to see someone with a Vex, instead virtually everyone has a Thorn or a Hawkmoon, and frankly its boring.
Crucible should be renamed TvT = Thorn V Thorn not PvP.
I have 2 Thorns and 2 Hawkmmons, and I have scrapped 1 thorn and 2 hawkmoons.
They are good guns, but they are destroying crucible. I cannot respect any player who uses a Thorn, a shotgun or a Vex in crucible, they are the ultimate cheese weapons - only noobs, scrubs and bad players run with them in crucible.
They have become the new crutch for noobs and bad players, like the Gjallarhorn has become the perpetual crutch of the bad players.
The crutch players are unable to play in crucible, without their crutch weapons. ,
The auto rifle nerf destroyed weapon variety in crucible and has forced bad or average players to use those OP weapons simply to play in the crucible.
Bungie need to buff the auto rifles to incentivise players to use different weapons again.
Until they do then crucible is like watching a pack of yapping poodles running around pretending they are rottweilers.

Edit: how does buffing one weapon class make a variety if all is used is 1 gun type? You just want op autos again

I agree to a extinct but stop whining about stuff it's a game u want to bet throns grab a team of 6 an hit them with 6 throns I'll play pvp but all my friends now if I get shot with thron I'm pulling it out. But I don't say whaaahhh you -blam!-ing noob stop using a game that everybody else has its expected to be seen in every pvp match now just like trails. That I'll never go flawless on cuz I can't ever get a team But I do think they should have a game mode in pvp where certain guns can't b used but that's my opinion

작성자: atv21 6/21/2015 12:25:46 PMWhile I don't play crucible often, I played a few games yesterday with a group of friends. The only problems I had with any thing was the massive lag. Unloading 3 shotgun shells into a guy and he kept skipping across the map. I have yet to play ToO because I know I'm not the best PvP person but there's no weapons that piss me off that much. Thorn does suck to go against but Alls I do is sit back with mida. I think that's one of the best most under used PvP weapon. Love that gun

I main a legendary scout rifle... I refuse to use thorn... Save one match a month or so to reassure myself its cheap. Trials is an issue I agree with others in that... But given the right map (widows court) you can definitely roll what you like... Did all three of my flawless on widows with my badger. I think the taken king is going to aim to rebalance in a big big way for crucible... I suspect they aren't making any major patches to weapon classes until then because I think they have more in mind for balance then just adjusting the base stats of the classes.. Not sure what exactly.. But I'm being on a bit of a surprise

5 답변The only reason Thorn is a 'better' gun now is because Bungie went and nerfed previous 'better' guns. I don't care how powerful the Thorn is, but let the former top rated guns keep their power to give a variety of use within the crucible. I don't use the Thorn because it's boring, but that's my choice

3 답변Ghorn is not a crutch it just makes everything easier. You would be stupid not to use it? Now Thorn is just broken. Nothing should a 2 hit kill. That's a crutch

I just watched a YouTube video from Briar Rabbit where he clearly explains what PVP has become and offers very insightful ideas and yet again nothing is done by Bungie. I can't wait for Halo 5 & even Black Ops 3 because I'll have much better options when it comes to PVP. I love raiding and some PVE elements of Destiny but the lag and horrible balance in Destiny's PVP is the worst I've seen in any PVP FPS.

4 답변I normally run a shotgun in my special slot, why? Because it's effective. I think Fellwinters is broken. I think Handcanons themselves are okay, they work as intended. Thorn is the exception not the rule.

1 답변Thorn is perfectly fine but is sad that so many poor bitches rely on it. Shotguns are OP as shit and are for quite unskilled players. Snipers have too much aim assistance and require little skill for headshots. Auto Rifles are terrible and you should never use one. The Last Word is ridiculous at all ranges and is insanely hard to kill. Supers are generally balanced but do have a lot of panic to them. Shoulder Charge is still a major crutch. Sidearms are very nice but deserve a bit more range due to shotguns. Everything else is pretty nice.

2 답변I tried using Red Death to counter hand cannons and it worked out pretty well, I usually get more kills than if I try to use my Hawkie or Thorn

1 답변Problem is they were nerfed multiple times and eventually Bungie just buffed the other weapons and we have the meta we have now. Auto rifles took such a hit they aren't even used as much in PVE.

The range on the shotguns,particularly matador,felwinter and party crasher,or whatever rolls they are, is ridiculous, the universal remote should straight up just be taken out,that weapon was designed for the exact purpose of what every legendary shotgun is apparently able to do now and they do it with better range and a much higher fire rate. I have been experitmentimg with autos and it's just sad,there is no reason to use low,impact autos at all,at most a 2 kill clip if you're lucky,med damage autos still leave plenty of time for the enemy to escape,still a good 2 seconds to drop someone with decent aim. Pulse rifles are doing ok but it's only because you can re-acquire your target with each shot. Scout rifles are few and far between,their range advantage just doesn't come into play often enough to be viable. The game is horribly unbalanced,i caters to one type of setup and makes it so you're almost totally unable to have variety because your ttk is half of what the enemy is. I've decided to just stay away from pvp until it's fixed,i can't handle the overwhelming amount of shotguns and hand cannons, it is in no way fun to be forced to use 2 weapons types. Id like to enjoy experimenting with other weapons but it's just not a possibility because of their utterly obvious crippled status. People will argue all day that I'm wrong about this,but if I was, you wouldn't see 90% of players with at least 1 of the things I mentioned. Easiest way to spot the most unbalanced weapons? See what you're killed by the most.

3 답변Destiny 2 make it so exotics aren't able to be used in crucible. We'll see a bigger variety of weapons (hopefully) and then for PvE we can hopefully use as many exotics as we like. Because I have previewed sunbreakers while wearing praxic fire and the sun bro in me was amazed
