Titans and Their Jumping Abilities
So, the Hunter and Warlock have Blink on one of their three Subclasses. Whilst the Titan has Catapult across all three. In my and many others opinion, the Titan is lacking a Blink equivalent. Not to mention the Titan is the least played class of the three, and this may be a reason why.
What I suggest is less about copying blink and more about providing competitive options for the Titan lacking in that department.
If you work at Bungie and happen to be reading this, it would be greatly appreciated to know that you guys are looking into this.

3 답변some sort of propulsion while on the ground. - saw the ViDoc video where the hunter rolled to the side to dodge an attack? Titans should have a small jet that pushes them and the slide like gundams.

Why do Titans even want Blink? Warlocks have blink because they're masters of space magic. Hunter have blink because Warlocks taught them how to blink. Titans don't fit with Blink Imo. They're Tanks. Why would they need Blink?

2 답변Alright my titan friends it's time to listen up. Stop bashing catapult as if it's worthless, because it's the single most effective speed upgrade any class has. Catapult + shoulder charge is a potent combo for getting the momentum back almost instantly, and coupled with a shotgun you'll be the biggest pain in the ass your opponents will see all day. So long as you know how to move around the map and stay in top of your hop based movement, you'll be faster than a bladedancer that specs agility. Yes, there are some deficiencies for the Titan class (especially in PvP), but catapult isn't the cause.

5 답변I think some sort of mid-air dash would fit more with the solar Titan class. A burst of fire enveloping the Titan causing it to quickly move in a direction.

1 답변Titan has been my only class ever in this game, even from way back when my friend let me try out the alpha on his ps4. But it has to be said: Catapult is complete garbage.

Some kind of quick strafing would be a good replacement for catapult. Hell, I'd use catapult if it actually gave you a noticeable speed boost. As it is right now you don't get any more speed out of it than you get with increased control. Difference is Catapult makes your jump last about half as long.

34 답변Wow, I have seen so many titans whine about blink.... IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR CLASS MECHANICS.. CHANGE CLASSES. A titan, blinking, makes no sense in the lore. It is a dumb idea.

1 답변We've already seen that perks can change in the eleventh hour. If I'm not mistaken, The Ram helm was shown to have the blinding ability upon activating Fireborn. Not until the HoW dropped did the perk change become know, at least in my case I guess. What I'm trying to say is: there is a lot of time between now and Sept 15. We know that many things are subject to change and the upgrade tree for the Sunbreaker was not officially announced in its entirety. It was leaked by someone paying in the booth with a smartphone. I'm not saying that Titans will or should get blink or an equivalent, I just want everyone to be prepared for different perks than have been leaked. I main a Titan and would love to see blink, just be patient and wait for more concrete facts.

1 답변A Titan blinking? Doesn't fit the lore of the class. And this game doesn't need another blink, it's already broken as it is. I am content with my shoulder charge and my new hammer throw.

3 답변You know there is a lore reason on why Titans don't have blink. Warlocks invented and the hunters stole it. Hence why warlocks have on the first learned subclass and the hunters have it on a more recently made subclass.

2 답변I wouldn't be disappointed if they gave catapault a a really strong boost but not let you lift. It wouldn't be blink, but it would titans a short burst of movement rather than the small boost we get from catapault
