Did Deej really just imply that we shouldn't collect weapons??!!
So i'm casually watching some Taken King footage on the link provided and at around the 10min 45sec bit of the video, in my opinion Deej implies that it's our fault we have lack of vault space from "collecting" things. He goes on to basically say that "we tend to use 3-5 weapons" and that we have to make "tough decisions" to better understand the game. He can't be serious right?? He's got to be taking the piss. I can think of at least 8 weapons i use on regular basis.

My feeling is this, first you can't read too much into this off the cuff comment from Deej. I get what he's saying and too a degree he's right you shouldn't have several copies of the same weapon unless you feel like you must but then you'll have to choose between that and something else, but If you are going to give us multiple Sets of weapons that are very different then we should be able to hold them. I should NEVER have to decide on if I should keep an exotic or get rid of it. Raid Weapons and Armor are immensely useful in the raids so why would I get rid of those? Some other weapons are great for PVP but suck at PVE and the reverse as well. I think they want to listen to us and have given us the stuff we wanted. This is a must. I don't care if they do it like COD and load out slots that are DLC. Make it happen. Find a way. You can't give us 15 sets of weapons and armor that have very narrow perks geared towards specific Raids/Tasks and not give us the room to store it.

3 답변It's just another point in how out of touch the dev really is with its audience. Yes Deej is just a com manager, he's not a dev. I know and agree with he doesn't make decisions in the design or working of the game. However, he is the devs mouthpiece. The ambassador to the people if you will. For him to say that says 1 of 2 things. He's speaking his opinion and is openingly admitting that he is out of touch with the majority of the community he manages Or 2 he's attempting to voice an opinion of the devs and disguise it as his own opinion. Which indicates that the devs are out of touch with the community or deej isn't communicating the opinion of the community to the devs. Either option is worrisome to say the least. If all the devs wanted for us is ro use 7 or 8 weapons why not just make it a COD game and call it a day.

2 답변IT'S NOT ABOUT COLLECTING GUNS FOR THE PEER ENJOYMENT. YOU COLLECT THEM BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE NEXT NERF OR BUFF IS COMING.. YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR WEAPON SELECTION DYNAMIC. AND YES, I ALWAYS TEXT IN CAPS ;)

3 답변I agree. I have never had a full vault. I use the same 3-5 primaries. Also, i have a shotgun, sniper, rocket launcher, and machine gun for each elemental damage type. I dont use fusion rifles. So that is six in special and six in heavy. Plus about 3-5 extras for exotics that double. So i literally have about 8 guns in vault. My armour I only keep about 3-5 of each so no vault space needed. I main a titan. So when I wanna run a nightfall or something with another character, i just swap out what i need for that activity. Never understood hoarding. Like who actually uses 15-20 different types of each weapon seriously?!

Deej is a dick and has no clue, you can see his arrogance in interviews etc. As for collecting weapons, I only have a small amount of weapons I regularly use and their all on my character. I don't have any shotguns in my vault because I don't like using them and I've given up collecting each and every weapon because they are nothing in comparison to the elemental damage weapon types like VOC, Fang and fatebringer.

I don't use my vex very much anymore but there is no way I'm getting rid of it. Both red hands are at 365 and aren't going anywhere. Any trials guns are staying because those are actually good guns. Unless I have one kinetic and one adept then I'll obviously get rid of the kinetic. All my exotics are staying. They have a low drop rate so that's not something you just get rid of.

You are in the. Minority of players as far as time played l, so yeah it effects you more than most, but yeah there is even room for 8 weapons in the vault already believe it or not. Even with 8 weapons in rotations you should still have vault space.

2 답변He's never pissed me off until that statement. Now I'm like everyone else and think he's inept and out of touch. It's really not that hard to learn enough about this this game to actually not seem like you don't know anything about it. It's not a complicated game. Seriously. What Deej did just showed to me that he doesn't care about his job or the community. Fire him. He can't even be bothered to get a working knowledge of the game that he's supposed to be the community director for, so why would you even want him in the position?

That's a lie I use just about all of the exotics and most of the rest..... NLB,RD,HL,Blockmoon, LW, Ash factory.... The list goes on most gun I get I try out Deej doesn't play destiny I wish he would stop acting like he did I think he still has a 32 or 27s idk

I also like how the other guy hows name I don't know asked if they plan to bring the old weapons back. Deej basically said no and that they want to give everyone something new. What about the people that got Destiny after TDB ot HoW? They never got to see the original weapons so let them.

He implied that players have a few select weapons they prefer over others. While this preference changes from player to player, the quantity is relatively low so bumping vault space even more is ultimately a waste. As new weapons are dropped in game, the old ones will start to vanish until they're "extinct". Why would you keep an older weapon if a newer one meets or exceeds the perks of it? Nostalgia alone is not enough to justify that. If TTK dropped a solar exotic rocket launcher that meets/exceeds Gjallarhorn, I'm sharding it.

Dismantle some stuff bro you don't need a hundred guns across three characters. I know some of you wanna collect all the guns you spend time trying to get, but maybe the vault isn't there for storing hundreds of different pieces of gear at a time. Perhaps the name 'vault' is misleading in that respect. Perhaps they should just put in a trading system.
