if there's one thing I learned from e3 today, it is: wait for the game a year after release so that you save $75 on the dlc.
$35 from the expansion pass + $60 destiny copy (let's say standard edition in this specific case; it's even more depending on what edition you bought for release) + $40 from the taken King dlc = $135
the legendary edition for new players which includes all of the above in one disc is just $60.
$135-$60=$75 ----> that is how much you would've saved if you waited a year.
for us day one players, we wasted $75. I never thought I would say this, but I think I just about had enough.
yeah yeah, it's all depreciation, but a big price drop this fast? so, destiny, the dark below, and HoW will be worth $20 combined in a few months. lmao, I feel betrayed and ripped off as a day one player.
seriously am contemplating whether I should get this or a completely different upcoming game besides halo and Star Wars. I think a $10-$15 price drop from $40 will convince me for sure to get the dlc. sounds greedy, but whose really the greedy one?!
halo, battlefront, and horizon here I come!

If bungie thinks that im gonna spend 40-50 for 3 hours of content from a game that should have been there in the first plan, instead of paying 20 bucks more for a game like fallout 4, they must be dumber than i thought.

How did we waste $75? I've spent the last nine months playing and enjoying Destiny. I don't consider that a waste of money at all. People who buy in with TTK will be a year behind and have a serious grind ahead of them, trying to acquire all the exotics and raid gear. Some of you people have a seriously messed up perspective on this stuff. But if we take your perspective seriously, then the same can be said about any game. Don't buy it on release day. Wait a year and pick up the Game of the Year edition (which every game seems to have these days) so you can get the game and all its DLC for one low price. Of course, you'll always be a year behind everyone else and have nobody to play them with, but hey, you saved some money so Yay!

I'm day one. Been on board since the first ViDoc/end of Alpha Lupi experience. Bought the ghost edition. So I've spent much more than the average. And I'm probably gonna buy the TTK collectors as well for the emotes and stuff. Seriously though. Wayyyy too much money on this game.

Don't need ur pity m8, played since day 1 I'm pretty sure day 1 players will have had a better end of the deal when you work out amount paid per hour. Someone buying the collectors now would have to play some serious time to get that. plus not many raid nowadays so less chance of noobs finishing end game content, and you require a certain level and weapon to even get a group on here Look forward to seeing you future scrub

1 답변Look at all these non-accounting people throwing around the word "depreciation." This isn't depreciation.

1 답변60 dollars for the game with all expansions? New players are still going to complain about lack of content.

6 답변When will people realize that Activision's sole purpose is to steal money? Good points here, OP. Thumbs up.

Why did you buy a new console when it first came out? I bet two years later it'll be $100 less and thinner. If you wait 3 years after first release, you could save so much money! Oh wait, but then you'd miss out on 3 years of fun.

So, I will do as Bungie would buy two collectors edition sell one for double the price to make my money back. Then take what I want from the second one and sell the game and all the expansions for $40 to just buy my digital edition for myself. This way I got the collectibles free. P.S sorry in advance to the person who gets shafted just passing the shitty stick along.
