Seriously Bungie?? Wtf.
So the collectors edition of The Taken King is $80. That is awesome, but take a look at what comes with it:

Do you see the problem? For $80 you can get the game with ALL THREE expansions + a ton of other goodies and in game items.
Seriously Bungie? Some of us have spent $100 or more already on this game, and youre telling me that we could have that all for only $80?

5 답변Why is no one excited that this is a huge incentive for new players to join the community? This would mean shorter wait times for match making activities and more active and populated patrol instances. Lfg sites like planetdestiny would also be more populated with people looking to group up for raids, PoE, and trials. Not to mention this is the perfect opportunity to get friends who maybe weren't sure about destiny to join up. Furthermore, what game costs full price a year later. Or, how often do games go on sale on the Playstation or Xbox stores? Destiny only cost $30 the other weekend and no one pitched a fit then. I got destiny for free when I bought my ps4, does that piss off all you day oners? The only thing that upsets me about the collectors edition is that you get the full game and expansions, which is great for new players, but what new player wants all the cool merch crap that only a seasoned destiny nerd would want. Personally, I'm going to see if a friend wants to split the cost, so for $40 he gets all the year one content, and I get the taken king and all the nerd swag. I suggest everyone does the same. That way you cut your out of pocket AND help the success of the game. ....Or you cry some more and quit.

1 답변I would make an additional edition called: Destiny The Taken King Veteran edition. It will cost $49.99 and comes with the Taken king DLC code only, but with everything from the collectors edition.

What's worse is that people can now buy Destiny, both DLCs, and the TTK for $60. But we have to pay $40 for just TTK. So did Destiny, TDB, and HoW really depreciate to $20 already? I don't mind paying $40 for TTK because it seems to be a reasonable price for the content. I just don't understand how new people can get the new expansion plus everything else for $20 more. Congrats to those people who are just now gettin the game. You're getting one hell of a deal for $60.

You do also know that Activision makes a majority of the price of items and how they are going to market it, so you whining to bungie isn't going to make much of a difference because more than likely they are just gonna wipe their tears with the money they earn from people who play the game.

I'm confused could some one please enlighten me? Doesn't the digital and legendary pack include the same VIP rewards. I already thought the expansion would have been 60 bucks so I planned on paying that much anyway and now I get VIP rewards as a bonus (me rationalizing spending another 60 on destiny) what's the big deal with the digital addition?

I agree. Witch is sad because I really enjoy the game. But at this point all these curve balls are really annoying. I feel cheated. Plus the people who want all the goodies who already have the game have to buy the game again. I really do think im done :/

Sort of like, I dunno, everything else in life? Wanna see a new movie the day it opens? 15 bucks for a ticket plus $1,000 for snacks. Wait a few months you can watch it on Xbox for a few bucks. Want the newest driver from Taylor Made? $400 bucks. Or, wait a year when a newer model comes out that isn't actually any better, just newer, and the old model is now less than $200. This is not a new strategy, nor exclusive to Bungie.

They should not try to make more money to pay their employees to continue to produce new content and provide updates often. Bungie is pretty good because they don't require a monthly subscription. The only require money for new content. Who cares about keeping destiny alive. Who cares about the fun of dominating taken king noobs. Only thing you care about is that everyone spends as much money as you do on the game because it's fair to you. Grow up... You have a whole year of playtime and most taken king players will not. A new car is not worth what it was a year later after purchase and being driven everyday. Don't like the game, then quit. Don't want to spend money on a game that you spent many many hours playing, then quit. I highly doubt anyone at bungie will take this post seriously because you Sound like a kid that knows nothing about business and how it works

Legendary edition is $60 for everything. That's messed up. To continue the story you must pay 75% what a new player will pay for everything. The prices, regardless of depreciation, its outrageous. I'm still buying, cause I'm an idiot. I've also been told I have an addictive personality. Fml...
