Did Bungie Jump Too Far Into PvP With This DLC ? Opinions ?
First off this is just my opinion, I'm sure you all feel differently in some way but I'm just saying how I feel.
I bought the game loving the whole story solo with the strikes etc, as well as co-op story mode/raids, nightfalls..
Never been big on playing PvP in this game, therefore I don't have much crucible experience and don't really like it much to be honest.
Anyway, point being, Trials of Osiris seems to be the biggest focus of Destiny now as all the best weapons and gear are available to those who can go flawless and make it to this lighthouse, that I've obviously never seen. lol
So what about the ones like me who don't have much crucible experience therefore when we finally get added to a trials team we're kicked because we don't have a 2.0 KD, we are literally missing out on most the best new weapons & gear,
Only because we don't play a lot of PvP? I mean I understand if you're good enough to go flawless, you should get rewards etc. But making damn near a third of the new gear/weapons, and the best ones at that, all rewards for a PvP event a lot of us can't even get into ? I mean I have 2 34's but can't get one piece of Trials gear or a weapon?
I just don't understand it and think they could've put something else in this dlc with special gear that isn't a PvP event . And I know all about the kellhunter POE gear because I have it all, as does 90% of the rest of the destiny universe.
Anyone else feel the same? No need to bash me if you feel differently because I won't respond to keyboard warriors I just wanted to see how everyone else felt about this...

3 답변Dude. No one played PvP because you never got anything for it! Now everybody complains because there are like 4 guns and an emblem you cant obtain? Why? The VoG weapons are way better. And can be 365 now Soooo...

To be entirely honest PvPers deserved it. Not just one side of the game. Personally I dislike doing raids and strikes there fun with friends but it's boring I could care less about the gear I mainly focus on PvP and all I had was crucible and iron banner once a month trials completely changed that and even rewarded those who put in the time for practice. We absolutely deserve our own social area.

2 답변Oh yeah, I feel this DLC favored HEAVILY on PVP.. But truth be told from my prospective i don't really put too much stock into it. I mean they are going off a whole. Just like any Corp company. To be fair, there hasn't been ANYTHING given to pvp other than Iron Banner. That's it. I'm actually glad they decided to do something a little different for the PvP side. And i don't even play crucible at all. Day 1 player, only did Crucible for the exotic bounties. Never done Iron Banner. Never done ToO and HIGHLY doubt I ever will. But i really don't care. It's not making the game... "HARDER" for me. i don't mind missing out on some weapons or some gear. If i chose to i could get those items but don't feel it's making my game experience any less than anyone else because it's MY CHOICE to be a PvE guy. Now when HoW came out, i was kinda disappointed that it only took me less than 24 hours to get to level 34 on BOTH characters I have but still i get everything can't just be PvE based. So my opinion is, while i agree with you, i still don't see it being a problem. There will be more and more and more offered. Doesn't kill me not to have everything But what can i say.. I'm a glass half full type o guy

I still suck at it but k/d ratio is climbing I'm getting better, working with a group I have been doing PvE with they are training me so to speak about the ins and outs so i can get to the lighthouse. They can get there but won't carry me and I appreciate that.

I can't even play because I don't meet the requirements on LFG, have to have already gone flawless, have to have perfect KD ratio, have to be level 34 with 365 weapons, etc... So I can't get the good weapons or gear. I'd much rather do raids or have ToO matchmaking so people like me can actually play instead of having elitist jerks and lag switching cheaters rule over ToO. Make more raids and stop with the PVP crap!

It's not like pve doesn't have great weapons. Vault of Glass has fatebringer, vision of confluence, and the vex mythoclast. Osiris has elemental primaries as well... and some neat armor I guess. Actually the armor is pretty neat, nice buffs on the pieces I picked up. Problem is that raiding is easier than trials. By far.

4 답변It's about time. Think of everything pve players got and we had the iron banner. Now we have an actual good event and people complain that this DLC is pvp focused. What happened to prison of elders? That's pve. There's 2 raids to do you can do that. Strike playlists... Pvp players needed something.

2 답변Disagree with you, the guns earned from trials are some of the best pvp guns in the game, but in reality are pointless for pve... why would you want an arc damage scholar when you have fang, and fatebringer which are better in evey way? why would you want a solar jewel when you have vision? PvE players who are mad they can't get them confuse me because they are not that great for pve you already have the best guns in the game...

3 답변I don't do pvp nor do I bash it, but reward wise I think they went more on the pvp side. There must be a reason, they are the ones watching the stats.

I don't know man, I mean 18% of the player base play pvp and that's where the money is for game company's by coming out with new map pack's for pvp. It's in Activision's interest to expand the pvp market and after all we have been pushed hard into pvp all along with exotic bounties and crucible marks needed to buy gear from 3/4 of the vendors. Now the whole weekend is f_-ked up by the player base split or gone off destiny because so many want to go flawless. Remember 18%? Just 18% play pvp. Had I know half the dlc was going to be this i wouldn't have preordered it with the dark below. We were told we were getting a raid back then and we got shit in the poe.

11 답변I feel bungie had such a success with Halo pvp they assumed everyone would like it in Destiny too. So we got Iron banners every month and never saw a queens bounty event ever again. Now the best gear is in trials. They want us to know pvp exists in this game and you should be playing.
