Just wondering what everyone else's take is on this. I've been playing Trials and never really been equally matched with a team, either amazing flawless players, or just new people like I once was.
It seems as though, Trials needs to match your based on skill or a scorecard, instead of what it does now
Edit: There's been some good replies on this, and most of you think it's luck.
Which after some of my more recent runs, I'm pretty sure it's luck too.

It's all about strategy and reading your opponent, being one step ahead of them. Everyone complaining needs to reevaluate their methods of playing. The worst thing is getting frustrated. I mean just enjoy it. With the boons, you only need 7 wins and a loss is forgiven so technically you don't really need to go 9-0. Go practice playing Elimination or something and get a team of friends you can communicate with instead of randoms. Mics are also key.

I would say that the worse your team is, the more lucky you have to get to go flawless. Think of it this way: if you take the best Trials team in the world, then they are likely to win every game because the matchmaking is not skill based. Chances are pretty good that every team they play will be significantly worse than them. Same thing for the worst team in the world, but opposite. They will likely lose every game. My team is pretty good. I'd say we win about 80-90 percent of our games. Sometimes we lose games by a large margin because we got matched up against a team that was simply better than us. However, that doesn't happen very often because I think as a team, we are better than the majority of teams out there.

You have to have a team that works well together and be above avarage. Then you need alot of luck to not run into a team with a pro using a scruf controller with control freaks playing on a benQ monitor and then you have a chance. By the free win boon get to 5 wins. If you can do that you can go flawless. By the other boons return to trials and do your best to remain cool. Hope you get avarage teams and you just need to win three out of your next four games. Tldr if you can go 5-0 you can flawless with a little luck because you have the team

Pvp is broken. Terrible lag. I faced a whole team in trials last night that could not be killed with a shotgun at point blank range. You are very lucky if you go 9 matches without going up against a bunch of laggy opponents who all get there supers by round 2

작성자: OneKills99Alibis 6/14/2015 2:49:19 PMIt honestly is. It's 2 parts skill, two parts strategy/ communication, and the rest is lucky matchmaking. Oh and let's not forget the lag. For all the 9-0 tryhard elitists out there gonna comment on this.. I don't really care about your opinion. Your emblem is tarnished. Your flawless doesn't matter. Noobs are getting in the breakfast club every day, and twitch/ youtubers are eating it up. Salt is good on everything.

2 답변Have you seen the "skill" based matchmaking that elimination supposedly has? It was easier for my team than Trials was. Bungie apparently doesn't know how to write an algorithm for skill matchmaking. Idk how the hell they managed it in Halo 2 & 3, but they may want to go back to that system.

I went 9-0 3 times so far and I think luck has something to do with it for sure. Regardless, you have to be good because of the 7 games you'll win you have to beat another good team at least once. But how many good teams is the question, you could get lucky and face a few crappy teams the whole time.
-
There is definitely a lot of luck involved. A group of guys with high K/D's and whatnot can be plenty skilled, sure. But anyone can get wrecked by those SWAT-level streamers who casually waltz in and go 9-0 three times in a row. And disconnects can be fatal to a good run.

Right, because they don't want to see an actual real challenge! If it were the real trials, leave the radar on, But lock out the Exotics. Keep ya light house burn weaps and i still guarantee it will actually be fire exchange GUN FIGHTS. not thorn grenade thorn grenade thorn grenade. Any one using auto rifles get they ass handled and lying if they tell you they beasting. Pulse rifles are now Kings and thorn is the God Exotics are all luck. These cats were getting handled by my shadow price while they were wielding Suros regime. Now 2 shots or a final round equals no gun fight, it's only luck of the bullet landing

작성자: AsylumxX 6/14/2015 2:06:29 PMI would say its equal parts. If you are getting wrecked you still have the chance to make a comeback if you are able to adjust to the opponents tactics. Exhibit A: http://youtu.be/3nyOVAgudY4 Basically unless youre playing against a full team of top 1%, it comes down to who coordinates and strategizes better. When you lose its because you got sloppy.
