We were in a heated discussion on how much I was allowed to play per day, and when he started to notice that he was caving, he flipped out and said he's packing it up. Now, he's one to make empty threats, but if he means it, I won't speak with him for the summer. Any tips?
Edit: I talked with my mom and she said that if I take my grandma on a walk every day, then she'll talk to him.
Edit: Sorry for whining so much. I'm a teen, my organs are playing chess. My brain says respect him, but my balls tell me to bitch.
Edit: Thanks for all the help! I've decided to sack up and do as he says.
Edit: I stopped my bitching, gave my old man a hug, and he respected me for that.
I have this amazing idea... Listen to your dad. He's not going to be around forever, and having a summer-long silent treatment over a -blam!-in game isn't going to go anywhere towards helping a long-lasting relationship. You aren't supposed to be inside all day during the summer anyways...
