Delay on sprint after you stop so you're ramming your thumbstick into the controller waiting for it to let you sprint again
Defuse mines, need I explain why??
Waiting for our -blam!-ing shit to load to pop a synth why hasn't this been fixed??
Too many adds to deal with the boss all the time is spent killing every enemy that -blam!-ing rushes you so you can't shoot the boss...
Coming out of your menu (after your heavy synth finally loads) whilst affected by poison takes the timer away, you can understand why this causes problems...
No enemies in this game have to reload so they constantly spam... Especially the -blam!-ing rocket launcher that has a ridiculous fire rate in the first place... Even Borderlands makes their enemies have a reload animation...
The Shrapnel launcher is supposed to be a shotgun but performs nothing like the acquirable version we get, getting constantly one shot cross map is how I die pretty much everytime this week...
Skolas never staggers from snipers ever... Why??
Everything is a -blam!-ing bullet/rocket sponge in this game... I find Vermivorous, Dexiduos or whatever his name is the invicibles and 10110101011 far less of a bullet sponge than all of this games bosses...
I know its not supposed to be easy but its borderline impossible and the only reason why i think is so tedious just like most of the other PoE bosses is because Bungie have finally decided the G-horn is op against their PvE bosses it's the only explanation... This games mechanics need -blam!-ing fixing, I know I'm not bad at the game, I don't see why an activity for 3 Gaurdians should be harder than any 6-man raid activity, and Crota was far too easy, most of these points arent even exclusive to PoE, its shit thats wrong with your game in general... Get your shit together Bungie...
Sincerely, a very frustrated fire team...
PS: I know no-one will really care and I'll probably only get hate I really needed to vent about some of the main issues that plague this game, the PoE title is an attention grabber I guess...

Ok so the first two weeks I put him down 4 times! Void put him down on all 3 characters. My Titan run was bumpy to say the least. Jumped into a skolas cp with clan members I have run it before with. Spent 3 hours with these 2 guys had him down to a whisker of health to be screwed by his fast firing scorch cannon..... These 2 guys just gave up. I spent another 2 hours with some other clan members only to be screwed the same way. Killed him 2 times with this group to have the mines glitch out on us..... 5 hours in total I was in there.... Now I have had 30 second runs but last night something wasn't right... And because of the lack of checkpoints we have to start a fresh... Now for you elitist scrubs that want to say it's some one was not pulling there weight you are beyond wrong... We tried black hammers. 1 Ghorn 2 hammers. 2 ghorns 1 hammer. And the coveted 3 way Ghorn attempt. This was by far the most ridiculous run on the 35 I have ever had. This post is more a rant because I highly doubt that bungie will see this post through all of the toxicity of this forum. Pissed doesn't even cover how angry I am right now. Started at 12am gave up at 5am.

He goes down in about a minute. One Titan on your team with a bubble then use a high impact sniper or Gjallarhorn to rock his world. Beat him three times every week. I'm unsure of the removal of burns... A slight decrease in the amount of high level ads in the arena would be been better & the inclusion of some more varied modifiers, rather than always a burn?

3 답변Our problem with it isn't skill its that he decides to teleport right in front of us about 2 seconds after I pop a bubble in the left corner leaving us no time to snipe. Last week we had all the time in the world but this week he won't cooperate. Anybody know a good strategy to get him to stay towards the entrance longer?

Used the spear sniper each week with 3 different burns , solar being the worst as that's the damage of his scorch cannon but as for you saying snipers don't stagger ?! Oh yes thy do my friend if your hitting in the right place with 3 competent guardians and 75+ bullets he goes down easy , it's even easier if the mine spawns at A point , your in luck then

Arc was the hardest because of the adds but still team work and not trying to rush are the biggest factors. Seems like most people try to rush him and take him out before mines. That's the worst way to do it. It should go attack, get mines, kill adds(wait for skolas come close again), attack, get mines, kill adds, finish him off. The essence is basically like going blind in the vault so if you treat it that way it becomes easy to deal with. Sad that they patched it but I guess they have to appeal to all skill lvls or they lose players and lose business (money)

It's not that bad. I didn't beat it the first week. Spent a few hours on it but we didn't do enough damage and understand the mines had to be cleared. Second week with arc burn we beat it on our third try. Just stick with it it's really not that bad.

2 답변Simply put, if you have a team that knows what they're doing, Skolas is absolutely cake each week(easier than Crota HM was in it's first couple months). If their is any incompetence among the fireteam, it's nearly impossible. The best part about Skolas(compared to VoG and CE) is that Skolas actually makes use of each of the classes very well. Hunter invis runs mines, Warlock can get away with holding essence and dying with self res helping out, and Titan can bubble mines and provide weapons of light or blessing for the team. I can't complain about that at all. Is it hectic? Yeah, sometimes.... Is it hard? Yeah, sometimes..... With the right team is it doable? Absolutely, first or second try with a competent team essentially every single time. Now you have to figure out the problem. We now know it's not nearly impossible and very doable. So who's the problem? You? Your teammates? Or your team in general? This is not a "git gud" post by the way. I'm just saying that you're over-reacting. It's not that difficult and I'm sure you can find a group or two that would be happy to help you. Destiny LFG is where you want to start. As long as you follow directions everything will be peachy.

Skolas definitely staggers for snipers. If he's coming out of a stagger from a teammate's shot when you hit him, he won't stagger. His animation has to be complete before he'll stagger again. Goes for every enemy in the game.

I understand your frustration. Tuesday night my fireteam with clan members started Skolas after others from our clan had, we ended up catching up to and beating Skolas before they did. The other group eventually gave up. The fight isnt what I would call overly difficult, it just has a lot going on all at once so it's easy for a captain to sneak up and kill you. Add in the random AI and some poor communication then you're going to have a bad time
