House of Wolves dead already?
It's two days after reset and there's nothing to do... this DLC died more quickly than Crota's End did. :-(
Edit: For those saying I have no life let's break down the available activities and their value to a day one player.
[b]Nightfall - [/b]for what reason? To play the same strike for the 500th time? I have etheric light out the bum, every exotic available in the game (except the three from PoE due to Bungie's incompetent programmers), and essentially everything is maxed out so the XP buff is pointless.
[b]Weekly - [/b] Ohh, 9 strange coins. Let me add that to my stacks of 150+
[b]PoE - [/b] We've played every stage and fought every boss by now. There is no need or point to do every single level three times per week. Hell, the only relevant difficulty is 35 PoE and that's a walk in the park.
[b]VoG / CE[/b] - Again, you do these enough and there is no point anymore. You get all the gear (especially in CE) in a few runs.
[b]Petra[/b] - She'll be at rank 4 next week. The bounties take all of 15 minutes to complete and she stops giving out good stuff at rank 3... so there's no point in doing this either.
[b]Daily bounties - [/b] Again, why? Maxed out gear and characters. Oh well, some kid on the internet says I must collect my nine billionth husk flake in the Rocketyard and kill my millionth elite Fallen or I've not done everything. Let me get to it!
Edit 2: For those of you going "Oh, look at all your strength." You've obviously not noticed that all PoE gear is strength based. I've got two armour pieces from a "Judgement Chance" and both have been Strength. People complain about this constantly too so it's obvious you're just looking for something to pick at and be internet warriors. I wear PoE armour when doing PoE and that was the last thing I did.

well you're wrong because I don't yet have 1 34, have only completed PoE up to lil 32, and haven't really started doing trials that much. it's called pace it out a little bit. this dlc was much better than CE and is showing signs of improvement

HoW shit on PvE players as it lacks any challenge or rewards worth pursuing. It's more of the same as nothing new was introduced. Story fails but that's not why we play Destiny Queens wrath bounties are nothing more than public events we've always done but updated to appropriate levels PoE is easily done even at the highest level. Doesn't engage players like a raid can. The rewards are not impressive compared to raids like VoG or CE and Etheric light can be acquired through PvP. I've grown bored of Destiny PvE but I do nightfall just for the buff and chance at a new exotic. HoW was made for PvP players and I find myself enjoying that aspect more

1 답변I haven't touched any pve shit in like 2 weeks, just been doing pvp, if you don't like pvp at least give it a shot for a few days! Completely different game and there's no boss tougher than a pvp player lol...

There is still things bugie is keeping sercet for later when things do get boring like the fate of all fools, vestian dinesty 342 < (i spelled that wrong). And more game modes like inferno clash ect. So to me its not dead yet

Well, I have over 1000 hrs so far, all pre-HoW gear and weapons I want. Only missing Felwinters from Iron Banner. I still need to get the Queens Rocket Launcher, and roll her other weapons til I'm satisfied with the perks. Will have all 3 new exotics soon, still need all new exptic gear, Trials to do.....its the carrot on the stick Guardian...go ahead and take a break, I promise we will still all be here when you return ;))

4 답변Dude, why play video games ever? The point isn't just the loot the loot is just a reward. Yeah, if you're not having fun or don't see the point then I guess HoW is dead, [i]for you[/i]. There's still plenty of people that haven't gotten all of the gear they want, haven't experienced everything that's been added yet, and have different goals then you. And no, it's not over just because you got to 34 in two days or whatever. Getting to 34 isn't the point. To me, I still feel like I'm just getting started on this expansion.

But you havent completed everything, your Gscore is still low. Once you have everything like you pointed out and max gscore, then you have completed everything, otherwise, your just the dude to my right and left. I'm on Xbone, so I still got something to look forward to in 3 months once the exclusives hit. My gscore is 40pts from Max. Inother words, once that is done, I can then migrate to other games for a bit or just watch day time TV. Of course Ill still log in for the Weekly reset and maybe some crucible, but meh.

3 답변The community wanted the grind taken out of destiny after VoG, they made it less in TDB, but it wasn't enough for the crybabies. They wanted even less of a grind, and a even easier way to get gear and weapons. Bungie did this with HoW, no you're able to be 34 in a day, and have new armor and weapons too.

2 답변Now that they are nerfing Skolas and removing burns from rotation, I have no desire to run that PoE mission ever again. I have beaten him a number of times, got the goodies that I wanted. Once I have Dreg's Promise, I will have no reason to play any of the PoE levels. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy PoE, but I have the ship, the shader, the emblem, 2 exotics out of 3, almost all the armour and some of the weapons (not really interested in them to be honest and I don't have the room anyway). Same goes for Trials once I get the helmets. The ship isn't great looking and the exotic bounty for the scout rifle is AWOL, I just want the Titan mark and that's me sorted. It's a good thing too, I am so behind on real life stuff and of course, other games, so I think after next week I will probably reduce my Destiny playtime drastically just to build up on mats and currency in prep for the big expansion.
