Mmmkay, so... Just spent 3-4 hours I think on this son of a bitch. Still didn't kill him. What are we doing wrong?
Everybody is 34 with maxed Gjallarhorn
We all run left. Titan pops a Weapons bubble. We all spread out (within a reasonable distance). We then nuke him with our Gjallarhorns and break the servitor chains.
Then shit hits the fan.
Mobs come out, damn 2-shot captains disrupt the whole fking process. So we all move to the opposite side. HE SITS RIGHT WHERE WE LEFT HIM, so no one can hit him, and even more two shot captains show up to screw with us. No way in hell can we get to the mines, because by this point, (assuming we ALL haven't been wiped by the goddamn 2-shot captains), SOMEBODY gets killed by (you guessed it) a goddamn 2-shot captain.
If not, usually all hell has broken loose by this point and there is no recovery from it.
Any suggestions?
P.S.- this whole artificial difficulty of lets-just-spam-them-with-ads-and-objectives-and-boss-bullets-and-debuffs-and-all-sorts-of-other-fun-shit-oh-and-did-you-see-that-captain-that-just-magically-appeared-behind-you is really getting old.
EDIT: forgot to mention, we did go in with full Gjallys and synths on reserve. SUB EDIT: Our Titan also had a helm of S14 but we just went full retard with the placement of the bubble. Yes, we scrubbed this fight THAT hard, lol...
EDIT2: Wow, I posted this last night and woke up for work this morning with a plethora of really good strategies and a lot of well deserved "git gud scrub" posts. Thank you all for the help, I will try these tonight when I get home, and I'll update you all on whether or not we actually kill him.
Oh, on a side note. The reason we didn't use Black Hammer at all during any of our runs last night is because my buddy, who has two Skolas kills, swore up and down that Black Hammer did not stagger him.
I work with him. I may have to kick his ass this morning...
FINAL EDIT. THE GOOD NEWS: Toasted his ass... Got a solar Six Dreg Pride II AND an elder cipher! Woohoo!!!

작성자: Serenity619 6/11/2015 1:07:14 PMMake sure your titan is running Bastion (bubble lasts longer), and my suggestion, run blessings not WOL. (Aleady assuming he has helm14). My team stayed left of bubble up stairs (except 1 jumping out of bubble to take shots and dps boss). Should take him out by the time hunter is taking 1st mine. (We used gallys, same as week 1)

Use the same strat that you are using, but snipe him with black hammer until mines must be dismantled (with WoL you do like 9800 precision damage and can DPS him faster because no reload if you get precision shots 3 times in a row), then nuke him with gally.

What we did last night if we all dump our rockets into him, titan pops the bubble, he and i pop our synths and the hunter goes invis to start on the mines, and we finish him off while the hunter gets the first wave of mines. This took us 5 min to do and imo is the best way to get this done. Hope this helps!

작성자: code0rama 6/11/2015 12:59:15 PMDoes your Titan have the helm of st 14? if so, pop the bubble by the door where the enemies come out, they will be blinded and it gives you a little more time. Also, designate the titan to get the bubble down, 1 player to shotgun the Servitor and the third to start shooting ghally sooner so you are not all reloading and then taking synths at the same time. You should then have one player designated to go for the first mine if it spawns across the map. It should only take you a few more rockets after that. HE should be dead by the time the 3rd player gets to the mine across the map. If Skolas teleports right up on you, there's nothing you can really do. There is some luck involved with the Gjally method. We tried black hammer and while it was leveled to 365, it did not stagger him so we don't use it. We had no problem with Arc and Void snipers in those weeks, but Gjally is just easier and faster.

1 답변Bro go right and run till you meet that servitor kill it as its hoing up the little step then from there ghorn him with everything you got only one mine will spawn have one person take that mine and the other 2 just keep jumping shooting ghorn at him before the first mine is disabled he will be down.... My friend got of 9 rockets the other 7 begore taking the mine and i did 10 rockets .... Done deal! Left is going to het to crowded and you are ro far from the first mine which in all 3 runs was the middle first

I beat Skolas twice on Tuesday night. Our tactic is this: Maxed Gjally's, Titan with Blessing of Light (weapons of light doesn't work on Gjally) and wearing Glasshouse. We run left, Gjally the servitor, pop the bubble. All pop in for Blessing and then unload Gjally's. Once you hear mines are on their way one of you needs to run for that. The other two should stay and continue to unload in Skolas (using synth). If you're getting swarmed by adds then you're taking too long.

What my team did yesterday. Snipe AND g horn break chain untill mines + devour IF A spawsn where you are ( left) have teamates distract while someone gets mine, do mines,Switch, Kill off adds, End skolas. then do mines.

작성자: burgertown07 6/11/2015 12:55:09 PMOne snipe with black hammer, two others use gally. If its a dps prob use weapons, if survival is an issue use blessing. In theory its really simple, however a lot can go wrong in that fight. Edit: this is why they need to implement some type of measurement on whos doing the most dmg on bosses.

2 답변If anything is spawning then you are doing it much too slowly. Although I've done gally and non gally methods, the gally one goes like this, for us... All three w 7 in chamber and a synth ready. Run out w two running to the left side and one hanging back. Two kill survivtor, pop blessing, and start hitting him, while third is in the arena outside of the door into the arena hitting him from the backside. Unload all, go back into bubble, pop synth, then continue unloading until mine time. The guy in the arena acts as a teleport balance so skolas doesn't move up onto the left platform w the other two.

작성자: Bumsai 6/11/2015 12:53:27 PMWe did the Gjally Only technique. Sounds like very easy, isnt it. If you look some videos on youtube... bla bla.. EVERYTHING has to run perfectly for this quick killing style. His moveset must be perfect. Sometimes he is porting twice, in the tunnel or next to us in the capture zone... omg.. there are so many "specials" that could be running wrong, but if all of them is perfect – its quite too easy. 1. run – near by 2h trying to kill skola with looong brakes for ammo synth. - Than, everything runs perfect - boom, we did it. 2. run – firsth try – nothing special happend - boom, we did it. All in all, solar-skolas is an easy fight but sometimes stuff happens and there's no way to beat it under those circumstances. Dont give up! :) PS. The bubble with the shields are better than the weapons of light. Because the benefit to rocketlaunchers is only 8% – way too low! The shield is better is something hits you or something went wrong – and ofthen… something wents wrong in this skola fight. ;) Here is the Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIqawxnAbdU

작성자: Sarcis 6/11/2015 12:49:13 PMI didn't read through everyone's responses but here are some tips that have worked for my teams: 1. With Rockets its important to fire as fast and efficiently as possible. I can usually pop a synth 3 rockets ahead of other people because they are just not being efficient and predicting exactly when their rocket is ready to fire. 2. This week with solar burn, if your team is accidentally dying to a Skolas shot, have Titan switch from WoL to BoL for more survivability outside of the bubble. 3. Disable mines & Devouring Essence: This is really where the communication kicks in. I have always found that moving as a group and constant communication about the Devouring Essence timer has almost always led to a win. Person with the debuff give a shout out when there is 10 seconds left and the one person that can take it will 5. Once you hit this stage it is a "maintain adds, move to next mine, swap Devouring Essence, and hit Skolas when none of the above are required" type of fight. This fight isn't about speed for most players. Because most can not do the fight that way either because of gear or group makeup. Every time my group won, it was when we slowed the hell down and found a rhythm. I hope any of this helps a little. ~Cheer Guardian

작성자: TheGreatGrattsby 6/11/2015 12:45:50 PMBlack hammer is the best starting point in that. Have everyone just headshot after the bubble is popped until you're out of ammo, switch to gally and finish. Fairly simple if you don't miss 18 headshots. Little tip, aim for his neck, lower half of head because his head will shoot back each time and you'll all be missing if you aim for top of head.
