Skolas, Pain in the Fking Ass
Mmmkay, so... Just spent 3-4 hours I think on this son of a bitch. Still didn't kill him. What are we doing wrong?
Everybody is 34 with maxed Gjallarhorn
We all run left. Titan pops a Weapons bubble. We all spread out (within a reasonable distance). We then nuke him with our Gjallarhorns and break the servitor chains.
Then shit hits the fan.
Mobs come out, damn 2-shot captains disrupt the whole fking process. So we all move to the opposite side. HE SITS RIGHT WHERE WE LEFT HIM, so no one can hit him, and even more two shot captains show up to screw with us. No way in hell can we get to the mines, because by this point, (assuming we ALL haven't been wiped by the goddamn 2-shot captains), SOMEBODY gets killed by (you guessed it) a goddamn 2-shot captain.
If not, usually all hell has broken loose by this point and there is no recovery from it.
Any suggestions?
P.S.- this whole artificial difficulty of lets-just-spam-them-with-ads-and-objectives-and-boss-bullets-and-debuffs-and-all-sorts-of-other-fun-shit-oh-and-did-you-see-that-captain-that-just-magically-appeared-behind-you is really getting old.
EDIT: forgot to mention, we did go in with full Gjallys and synths on reserve. SUB EDIT: Our Titan also had a helm of S14 but we just went full retard with the placement of the bubble. Yes, we scrubbed this fight THAT hard, lol...
EDIT2: Wow, I posted this last night and woke up for work this morning with a plethora of really good strategies and a lot of well deserved "git gud scrub" posts. [b]Thank you all for the help[/b], I will try these tonight when I get home, and I'll update you all on whether or not we actually kill him.
Oh, on a side note. The reason we didn't use Black Hammer at all during any of our runs last night is because my buddy, who has two Skolas kills, swore up and down that Black Hammer did not stagger him.
I work with him. I may have to kick his ass this morning...
FINAL EDIT. THE GOOD NEWS: Toasted his ass... Got a solar Six Dreg Pride II AND an elder cipher! Woohoo!!!

작성자: DanTheThriller 6/11/2015 3:51:01 PM1-Run left and kill Servitor ASAP (Use grenades and VoC.). 2-Drop the bubble (Use Blessing of Light with Illuminated and Bastion.) against the back wall, at the base of the stairs. 3-Have the squishiest characters (*ahem* hunters *ahem*) shoot him from up stairs (He can't hit you from that vantage point.). 4-Have the titans and Sunsinger warlocks shoot him from the bubble (strafing or jumping). 5-Fire your rockets, until you're out. Synth. Fire your rockets, until he's dead. If the burn is going to take too long and the far mine comes up, send someone out to it at 25 seconds. Edit: I've killed him 10 times and can sherpa you.

Sounds like your doing the strategy right. All it takes is one guy to shoot his rocket at the right time and youll get it. When the enemies appear, back off a little while still hitting him. By the time me and my friend beat him, we were towards the wreckage.

Weapons of light will not affect gjallarhorn, use blessing, 3 of you keep using the rockets, then when the first set of mines show up, just one hunter should go there invisible, if you keep shooting without missing the rockets, he should be down while dismantling the first mine

Here's what my team did last time I ran it and we killed him first try: Weapons of light on left side w/ helm of st. 14 and the bubble is popped right in front of the door that adds come out of. Black hammer until clost to half health. Gally until dead. And yes, black hammer stuns the hell out of him

I just killed him for the second time this week.. Left - yes. Place two bubbles once you have killed the first servitor (gift of the void = 3 orbs when Skolas shoot on your bubble, just in case you will need a new one) Weapons of light would take Saint-14 and place it in front of the door. Blessing will take Glasshouse on. Everybody fire 7 rockets. Two of them will use heavy synth, last person will use black hammer for constant DPS. It will also prevent him from teleport. The last person with black hammer, will now take a synth as the two others are shooting rockets again, and by that time, the first mine would come.. Last person who takes a synth, will now fire 2-4 rockets and run for the first mine.. Have 2 rockets ready in case of you meet a captain. First two guys should have killed Skolas before the third reach the mine. We took him down in first try.

Black hammer staggers for days, everybody used it when I beat him and we pushed him all the way across the map. Also if you go to the left side, after killing the servitor, put the bubble in front of the door. If any enemies were to come out of it they will be blind, but I hadn't had any enemies spawn out of there.

We did it with 1 gally last night. Two icebreakers 2 hungers and 1 hammer. I was invis Hunter other guy was weapons Titan and other was self res warlock. When we executed it right it took about a minute. Emptied snipers and stun locked while gally fired. Hunger rockets while gally synthed. I got off about two more 365 icebreaker crits, pop my super go invis and go for A mine while they keep firing. Titan sacrifices bubble in firing, I sacrifice myself in mine running, warlock sacrificed in the killing blow and self res then picks up the mine run for the win. Sacrifices had to be made without more than one gally. The poison wasn't too much of a concern just keep it off the warlock

Use blessing of light, gally's w/ solar burn take him down quick enough. Make sure to jump up and fire gally shots. Send one hunter towards the last bit to deactivate the mine while the other two finish off the sliver of life he has left

Did it most recently on my hunter. Without a Titan. We had Two hunters and a warlock. One guy didn't have extra heavy perk on his boots. Took us 2 attempts. You don't need weapons of light if u are using rockets. If you are using blessings you don't need to pop back in the bubble unless u want to be super safe when using ammo synth. Focus more on using the cover to the left/right of where the servitor spawns. The bubble is just a bonus if u think about it. A small bonus at that, considering he will prob melt u anyway on Solar burn if u get hit.

Your friend is wrong. Black Hammer does stagger him. That said, you shouldn't need it (but it does help if one guy can constantly hit crits on him). Is the titan using helm of st 14? If he's not you're doing it wrong. He should be close to death by the time mobs spawn and mines spawn. It also requires a tiny bit of luck. If he decides to telepush up on you, better luck next time. Also, you can definitely miss ghorn shots. I did it with a group with 365 gallys, and by the time mobs spawned he hadn't even lost 25% hp... It was because the other guys were shooting crazily and like hitting the ground inn front of him or to the side of him and only barely catching him with some wolf packs. You don't really need to be all that spaced out. Just far enough that you can see which way Skolas' bullets are going to make sure you don't walk out into one.

작성자: palmer918 6/11/2015 2:40:03 PMEveryone start with a mag of sniper ammo. Go kill the servitor on left. Empty your sniper in his face. Switch to VOC. Hit him with your full auto VOC till his chains break, then bring out the Ghallys/Dragon's Breath/Hunger and kill him. VOC has such a fast fire rate it staggers him and makes him miss his shots.

1 답변작성자: Kooba 6/11/2015 2:26:50 PMI beat him last night w/ one Walock, one Titan (Weapons of light), and one hunter. 1) Run (Especially use the black screen after cut-scene to get extra length) straight to left side. Use shotgun (Lord of Wolves preferably) to take down Servitor whilst the Titan pops bubble, and Warlock begins to Blackhammer to stagger. Two people use BlackHammer to stagger him, while other uses Ghally. Then when bonds are broken all 3 use Ghally (I didnt even have one!) - The reason for Weapons of Light is b/c the BHammer method. Although it doesnt effect Ghally, it helps the BH. 2) Mines: Hunter runs across for mines that spawn on far side and middle. He uses invisible to get each - I guess if the essence is on him, the invis doesnt work... so take it from him. 3) Other two players DPS Skolas until death. May take a few tries, but it works!

So then use a different strat man. I've yet to get a 30 second kill. Idk which is harder, arc or solar.. Just focus on ADDS. they're the most vital part of the entire fight. they spawn every 90 seconds. Nothing to do w. HP levels, they DO STACK. if you don't kill them, they WILL keep coming every single 90 second. The same adds, from the same door. I believe there's only 2 shrapnel captains each wave though. I think it's 1, but I'll give it 2 for good measure. & a melee captain. Keep killing adds & running the giant circle. bonds break around 65%. first mines spawn at 50% HP, & again at 10%. Don't DPS him to those 2 HP levels until all 3 are alive, adds have been efficiently cleared, & yous have your supers. I think it works best w. All 3 characters. a warlock to wipe the essence of absolute need be(no point in doing this just to get rid of it, he summons another one in like 20 seconds), a bladedancer for middle or left mine, & titan for whichever the hunter doesn't get. any class can get the far right. I guess it's easier said than done. Idk, I haven't had any troubles w. Skolas really. Only when I hadda weak link. it takes 3 players who can hold equal weight. In my opinion. or you can just buke him. 7 Gjallarhorns, synth, 7 gjallarhorns. I've not done it this week, but you should be killing him before adds get a chance to kill you...use Blessing. Weapons does hardly anything to rockets. & proximity rockets are almost pointless for weapons too. which gjallarhorn is proximity.

I honestly think it's the skill of the players. With a little luck. I did it the first time. We all had max gallys but no Titan. We killed him easy. Mind you we were all good. I respected the way they played. Similar situation. All maxed gallys and 34. This time we have a Titan bubble also but can't kill him. This team isn't as good. I asked to join because he follows me on xbox. I don't add scrubs back. They were also trying to cut corners while doing skolas. " I have 3 rockets but I have my black hammer we should be fine" NO you can't do that. You have to unload all 14 or atleast 2 people while the other unloads atleast 9 to get the objective.
