Mmmkay, so... Just spent 3-4 hours I think on this son of a bitch. Still didn't kill him. What are we doing wrong?
Everybody is 34 with maxed Gjallarhorn
We all run left. Titan pops a Weapons bubble. We all spread out (within a reasonable distance). We then nuke him with our Gjallarhorns and break the servitor chains.
Then shit hits the fan.
Mobs come out, damn 2-shot captains disrupt the whole fking process. So we all move to the opposite side. HE SITS RIGHT WHERE WE LEFT HIM, so no one can hit him, and even more two shot captains show up to screw with us. No way in hell can we get to the mines, because by this point, (assuming we ALL haven't been wiped by the goddamn 2-shot captains), SOMEBODY gets killed by (you guessed it) a goddamn 2-shot captain.
If not, usually all hell has broken loose by this point and there is no recovery from it.
Any suggestions?
P.S.- this whole artificial difficulty of lets-just-spam-them-with-ads-and-objectives-and-boss-bullets-and-debuffs-and-all-sorts-of-other-fun-shit-oh-and-did-you-see-that-captain-that-just-magically-appeared-behind-you is really getting old.
EDIT: forgot to mention, we did go in with full Gjallys and synths on reserve. SUB EDIT: Our Titan also had a helm of S14 but we just went full retard with the placement of the bubble. Yes, we scrubbed this fight THAT hard, lol...
EDIT2: Wow, I posted this last night and woke up for work this morning with a plethora of really good strategies and a lot of well deserved "git gud scrub" posts. Thank you all for the help, I will try these tonight when I get home, and I'll update you all on whether or not we actually kill him.
Oh, on a side note. The reason we didn't use Black Hammer at all during any of our runs last night is because my buddy, who has two Skolas kills, swore up and down that Black Hammer did not stagger him.
I work with him. I may have to kick his ass this morning...
FINAL EDIT. THE GOOD NEWS: Toasted his ass... Got a solar Six Dreg Pride II AND an elder cipher! Woohoo!!!

14 답변I didn't read anyone's answer yet, so I'm just going to throw out my two cents: We've done it twice this week and killed him on the first time both times, and got the cipher for all three character both times... But I digress... First, the only mandatory class is 1 Titan with BLESSING of light, NOT WEAPONS of light (Weapons of light does not affect Gjallahorn because of it's hidden proximity detonation perk) . The other two can be whatever class. 1) Go out and left, all three guardians go up the ramp where the servitor is 2) Everyone get in position and take down the servitor at the same time. 3) Titan pop bubble so there is 2 guardian bodies length between the outside edge of the bubble and the wing ramp. Putting the bubble here makes it so you have a wall on each side for protection (so it is like you are firing down the wing ramp) and Skolas usually hits the wing ramp when trying to shoot you which helps. 4)Gjallahorn him twice before going back into the bubble. its necessary for you to shoot two rockets and reload while refreshing the blessing in the bubble. I've seen pussy guardians going in and out between each rocket, and its a waste of time. 5)On 50% or 25% (cant remember) the poison and mines start. Just ignore them until Skolas is down. (unless the first mine happens to be the one all the way across the map, you may want to send a invisible hunter over there if necessary) 6)Our first mine both times was the one right next to us (lucky us). Remember that you have to complete two phases of mines once Skullas is down. 7)Don't forget a key and an empty bounty slot (I know they said they fixed the cipher bounty thing, but I know from experience they didn't). Final thoughts... If you keep failing, take a count of everyone's rockets. Find out who is not firing enough and help them figure it out. if that doesn't work, the super secret to beating this boss can be found by combining the first letter of each bullet above.

Try maxing everyone's agility; getting wiped by mines after the boss is downed just plain sucks. Make sure Ghorn's all have speed reload perk. We start at the bottom, right in front of the door where the servitor sits. When shanks come out, we rotate up the stairs to the left & finish Skolas from there. We had 2 guys use syth's and continue with Ghorn's, while the third went straight to black hammer to keep DPS on Skolas.

Use blessing not weapons. It doesn't give you a significant amount of impact bonus and weapons doesn't affect blast radius or Wolfpack rounds but that blessing can be a life saver. All 3 have 7 rockets and be able to synth up just keep burning him.

작성자: : ^ ) 6/11/2015 4:25:14 PM1. Placement of the Bubble shouldn't matter. WoL doesn't affect Gjallarhorn. I know, because our team killed him in 30 seconds yesterday without WoL. 2. How do you mess it up? Are you taking your time getting to the servitor? Are you taking too long to start shooting? Three Gjallarhorns should be fail proof... I tried to sniper him down this week like we did in the past with Black Hammer and WoL, but for some reason it didn't feel like it did the same damage it did in the past. We all used 365 Black Hammers, and we barely unchained his servitor bonds with sniper rifles and this is with crits. They don't feel as effective this time around. :l We took too long to get to a mine and wiped. Second go, we decided, " F--k it! Gjallarhorns are being launched at this asshole. " and beat it in 30 seconds.

3 답변First off. You ABSOLUTELY don't need no bubble at all!! Sounds dumb but use a Gally shot on the Servitor. Your wasting too much time if you reach the platform and it teleports up the stairs. This is very important. Have 2 toons start hitting Skolas with Gallys. The 1, start off using the Black Hammer. Try to get most of you critical hits. As soon as the 2 start popping Synth. Which is usually when the bond breaks. The Sniper switches to his Gally. Then finish him off. Good Luck.

작성자: CCXGT 6/11/2015 4:19:36 PMDone it 3 times this week. Twice using the G-horn strategy and a Blessing Bubble (because Weapons doesn't effect G-horn), and once using Blackhammers and a Weapons Bubble. I'll say that the Blackhammer strategy is MUCH easier, faster, less time-consuming in the setup and more open to bitches without G-horn.

1 답변Run to left and place that bubble in front of the door. Black hammers are key and stagger him so he doesn't start teleporting so quickly and leaves him more or else away from you closer to where he starts walking towards you. Once we broke his servitor bond then we started using the Gally rockets barrage and that seems to work better than just using all rockets.

I think if your not killing him right away try this. Running left first Check. Then designate one guy to kill the second servitor after one sniper clip. he spawns all the way on the other side of the map where the platform is with the two sheets of metal on top. It also helps if one guy has a shot gun to take out ads while shooting Skolas. Once Skolas pushes on you rotate to the other side of the map as a team. You should have a blade dance hunter in the game to go invisible to revive search for servitors. Overall if you can move from one side of the map to the other along the outsides as a team you should stay alive. A machine gun is helpful in clearing out ads as well as a shot gun. Primary weapons for the burns is also extremely helpful. PACKN HEAT12 ON Xbox one

If you're trying to burn him. Go left and let everyone get there before killing the servitor. If servitor is killed too quickly, before everyone is set up, you may have the bond come back before you break it permanently. Titan needs to use blind bubble on the door the shanks come from - Buys you a little more rocket time. The more people you have on the very top platform, the slower Skolas seems to teleport. You need the fast reload, 7 rockets, and a cold synth. Make sure to take the time to lock the first 4 rockets each on him. If any of you miss one of those in haste, he probably won't get stun locked. By the end of your first clip of 7 rockets each, servitor bonds wil be broken. Ignore everything, eat a synth, keep jumping around and shooting rockets. Take care to lock them on, direct hits deal way more damage. Once he is down, deal with mines. If he teleports all the way to you, you f'd up and shouldn't waste more rockets. Or you could beat him the normal way.

1 답변Can anyone clarify this: with the typical strategy there's only a need to kill one servitor? So in the 20 seconds his health should be below the servitor bond threshold, right? Or is it that people are sniping/rocketing the other servitor and just not mentioning it?

작성자: DanTheThriller 6/11/2015 3:51:01 PM1-Run left and kill Servitor ASAP (Use grenades and VoC.). 2-Drop the bubble (Use Blessing of Light with Illuminated and Bastion.) against the back wall, at the base of the stairs. 3-Have the squishiest characters (*ahem* hunters *ahem*) shoot him from up stairs (He can't hit you from that vantage point.). 4-Have the titans and Sunsinger warlocks shoot him from the bubble (strafing or jumping). 5-Fire your rockets, until you're out. Synth. Fire your rockets, until he's dead. If the burn is going to take too long and the far mine comes up, send someone out to it at 25 seconds. Edit: I've killed him 10 times and can sherpa you.
