Solar Burn Skolas. Black Hammer better than Gjallarhorn
We spent an hour with diff methods trying to kill skolas with Gjallahorn. No luck. We switched to 3 - 365 black hammers and beat him first try. The best way to beat Skolas with any burn is 3 hard hitting snipers with Weapons of Light. It stun locks him so he can not warp or shoot the scorch cannon.

Bubble makes everything harder. Means your fire team is all bunched up. Gives skolas a huge target to shoot at (with all 3 of you in that target). Get weapons when you first start sniping but no need to keep going in and out. I bet you struggled with gjallys cause people were killing themselves. You have to space out where you stand. This also makes skolas easier cause he can only damage on guardian at a time. If he hits you once stop shooting so your team mates can take Aggro

1 답변An hour with three Gjallarhorns? I might be going out on a limb here but I don't think it had anything to do with the weapons.

Took us less than 5 minutes to complete, here is how we did it. First: synth GHorn and sit until synth ready again, 5 minutes. Second: enter room, go left, 1 kills Servitor with 1 rocket and gets to our safe spot on the left. Third: spam boss with all GHorn, reload and repeat. -> dead man walking! Fourth: no adds to contend with for the two waves of mines! Fifth: done, 5 minutes or less after entering the arena! No bubbles or deaths! Enjoy...

4 답변I like starting with sniping and then moving to ghorn. I don't use Black Hammer. I use a Solar Efrideets with Field Scout, Spray and Play and Final Round.

1 답변작성자: JEDI KNIGHT 360 6/11/2015 4:30:19 AMits not been Skolas who's been giving me trouble it's his damned minions me and my teammates are lucky if we get off more than one shot before we get swarmed we would have killed him already if they would just leave us alone for at most 15 seconds Titan bubble hasn't helped either you still got to exit the thing before you can take a shot with a weapon and then you get 3 shrapnel launchers to the face at once forcing you to run back inside after one shot if you're not killed on the spot that allows Skolas to teleport away to a area where you have to move to a entirely different spot to shoot him

I feel like BH is a better method. 1st group we all did BH and smoked him. Other two groups either exclusive Gjallarhorn or combo of Gjallarhorn and snipers (BH) and it was dicey. That's not to say it is better, but I found sniping method much easier.

4 답변3 hammers to start to knock him back since gally doesn't knock him back as much. Then swap to gally for the kill when he's far enough. The problem with 3 gally is that he teleports way too close and shoots too much since he isn't getting staggered. We did it with 2 BH while other has a gally to start off then everyone went to gally. SO much easier.

Three players with 365 Gjallarhorns and a Weapons of Light bubble worked just fine the first week and this week. Just make sure everyone has their Heavy Ammo Synths ready before going in. Fire all 7 rockets, use a Synth & fire 7 more if possible, but I usually have a couple of rockets left after he dies.
